Wow, I had no idea Greg.

I haven't posted a whole lot in my 2 years as a member, and unfortunately I never had the privilege of meeting either one of you. She appears to have been a great woman who will obviously be missed.

You sir, are my new hero for carrying on and contributing to this wonderful site even in such a trying time. True strength indeed. As many others have stated, I can come up with no arrangement of words to fully express my sorrow or to alleviate your grief, so I can only try to leave it to someone much more eloquent than myself:

"No one's death comes to pass without making some impression, and those close to the deceased inherit part of the liberated soul and become richer in their humanness"

My deepest sympathies and most heart-felt condolences to you and your family.-James

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your wife. I just came by the NICO site for the first time in a year or so to read the post everyone made when my brother (Paul Souder) passed away. The 19th is my birthday, and as with all holiday's, and birthdays, I miss him even more and find myself looking for comfort and looking back at the things people said still brings me comfort as I remember him as the great person he was. I saw your banner, and visited your site and my heart goes out to you. I feel your pain. I don't believe I ever met Stacey, but reading the posts, it sounds like she was an amazing, amazing person. If there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. My condolences to you and your family. Sincerely,Michael Souder

Greg, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.

I grieve your loss. There are no words that I can say, that will comfort you in those times when you are alone. Please know that I too share your sorrow.

Be strong for the kids, and focus on the important things in life.

Cherish the fact that she is known by tens of thousands, and will be missed. We may or may not have met her, but we feel we know her through her writing and influence here on the internet.

Cancer is a tough thing to battle. Evie (my wife) won the first battle, but there is always the thought lurking in the background, "Will it come back?"

I pray that no one else has to go through the pain and struggle of Cancer.

Your bro in Alabama,

Jeff

Greg, Theres an old quote that says:

"It's better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all."

Take that with you in this time of need and know that everybody in the Nico family is here for you and your kids.

My deepest condolences to your family, but know that NicoMom is in a better place now and always hold her in your heart.

Greg,

I'm So Sorry...Words can not describe the sorrow i feel right now for you, Hunter, Darian and Saraya. You will all be in my Prayers.

I was halfway through, listening to, "I Miss You" by Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) when i found the thread and started crying on my keyboard. I wish I could say something to help or make you feel better but i know i cant...

I just wish I could have met Stacey. Shes the type of person that we all need in are lives. Loving, caring, supportive, and it sounds like she was there to kick your butt when you needed it also...Stacey will be truly missed by all.

Jim don't think you are being forgotten about...You and the rest of your family are in my prayers...God will be there for you all!

(Since I started typing this I have listened to that same song about 7 times and teared up each time.)

God Bless...Chris Ruge

Deeply sorry to hear the news Greg. More than anything I hope your children get through it ok. You know you've got a ton of friends here of course.

Cancer hits too close to home for far too many of us. My mother lost her battle with it at age 30.

It's gonna be tough for a while but you're gonna get through it man, just be strong.

My thoughts and deepest condolences to you and your family.

Wow Greg I am really sorry to hear the news. I wasn't aware she relapsed.

I like many others dont have the words at hand to make this any better. I could not read all these posts in this thread without shedding tears.

I will say though dispite the loss you are one lucky man to have had such a wonderful woman. Many men go through marriage only wishing their wife's were as supportive of their dreams as Stacey was with you. She was truly an amazing woman. I sincerely regret having never met her in person.

You are also an extreamly lucky man to have such a large extended family in this club. Only peice of advice I can offer at this point is I hope a stadium is in the arrangements as I think a few people are planning on showing up.

Greg, Darian,Hunter, Saraya, and brother Jim my thoughts are with all of you. May you be strong in your time of this loss.

I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss Greg. Though I haven't met you, and unfortunately never got the chance to meet the wonderful person your wife sounded like she was, I can understand the pain. God bless you and your family, my prayers go out to you guys. May Stacey rest in peace.

Damn Greg really sorry for your loss bro, I know how it can feel to lose a loved one to cancer. I only had the chance to talk to Nicomom once on the boards, and you only a few times. She was a beautiful person. Keep your head up big guy, if you need anything you know the niconauts have your back..
