The only complaint I have with this exhaust is that the resonator in the center pipe hangs way too low to the ground. It scratches every speed bump and or coming up from an underground parking ramp.

For the price I paid, can't complaint much.

Did you find the S13 version on Ebay also? I have been searching on there but have only seen the S14 version. Hmmm...maybe I should email them, as I would love to by that exhaust! Looks nice, and ya can't beat the price!

this is the worst message board ive ever visited. i write a review to help you guys out,and all you do is **** on it. **** this board i will never post here again. i though this was a NISSAN COMMUNITY. i very supprised of all the negitivity projected by the moderators as well as the members of this so called community. i spent alot of time and effort on the reserching this exahust, and i decided to share my findings with the rest of the community. if you actually read the post i was insulted first by GEO i did not single anybody out. i belive he got hurt cause i was talking about apex-i. and i only retaliated after he insulted me. and by the way i filter all my own curse words i know there is kiddies here on the board. so whats the problem, all i here is problems from you guys no solutions. so WTF am i wrong please some one who can read the entire post tell me im wrong if not then **** you all

I'm still in... If it rusts out and falls off, Im out $150. Woopadeedoo. It's got to be better than my crappy (squished) stock exhaust. The only concern I would have is, would it be the first thing to drag over speed bumps, or cats, dogs, whatever.. I think it sounds good.

Hey K. this is the best 240sx forum in the web, the Mods can only do so much, and when you react to criticism with profanity you are getting down to their level...take it easy, Brother...one thing is for sure your review sold me out. Anyway, I appreciate your time and trouble for the review, I agree with the person who said the defense of the name brand products is an exhibition of elitism. This looks like a quality exhaust, and to be honest if it doesn't last too long I can buy three of these for the price of one Apexi dual. So Koukimon, thanks for the review and take it easy, don't blow a gasket when someone offends you, smile and nod, thank them for their post and silently give them the bird....

i thought you people liked clever writing(makes things more exciting).i used this term to discribe "how the world likes to f*ck MR RobertD" my situation. meaning the install. or how i forgot the parts in hollywood and drove all the way to palmdale,and all the way back, drive my car on the curb and use the jack on the other side, and also having limited supply of tools(cant drag a full tool kit from palmdale so i just took the vitals combo wrenches ratchet etc.... install would have been smother and more fun with a jack, jackstants, impact wrench, but u know what i did it anyways

mind u i never insulted anyone who dident insult me first.

and its true this is a public board but this is my post. and if sombody insults me, or the products that i use, or the car that i drive, ibelive that gives me the right to defend myself in anyway possible.and since this tis a writtin problem thats how i solved it, with words

We almost never delete anything unless its totally unappropriate, purposly confrontational or requested by the thread creator. Listen, there are like 20 people looking after a site with 34,000+ members all in their free time, the atmosphere of the forum is up to the members. Every time you cuss someone out, even in defense, you're just going to inflame the situation and create divides.

Misunderstanding is going to happen on a board like this, we have members all around the world, many who know english only as a second language. Heck maybe the misunderstanding occurs because the reader was tired, in a hurry, drunk, etc... Forgive, forget and have some fun.

Really good forum advice:-Never give to to a forum and expect anything in return.

Nice... hope you decide to stay koukimon.. Yup, I've read threads from here detailing rust... even to the point that the tips fell off, not to mention subpar welds on the hangers for the Apexi. I'm pretty sure Greg (AZHitman) dissed the duals when compared to the BRM.

Don't let the RB20 loser get to you... he's on the wrong board if he's got crap to say against the KA. And for GEO, well, I'd be mad too if I paid a lot for a system that will eventually rust out.. I thought he got it on a deal anyway? I shouldn't be one to talk, I still want a GT-Spec... SS and one-piece... mmm....

I've heard the clips of the SSAutochrome... it's too gurgly for my taste, but I admit it does sound mean, and the quality matches, if not surpasses Apexi, despite what others are saying. Sometimes you get more than what you paid for.

My dual N1s have been blasted with a crap load of Chicago salt (if you live in Chicago, you know what I mean as black cars turn white) and have yet to show any signs of rust. They’re made with mild steal and then covered with a titanium particle coating. Hmm, I wonder why they'd do that? Oh I don't know... TO PREVENT RUST! The A'pexi dual N1s aren't the rusty, Midas muffler bullsh*t like everyone claims they’ve seen or heard off some stupid web forum. Unless someone actually has proof that their A'pexi dual N1s have rusted, I call shenanigans.

Back on topic: the SSautochrome exhaust has a nice price. Heck if it isn’t made of stainless, you could buy 3-4 of them for the price of the original A’pexi exhaust.

I agree, but they look cool. if everyone had the same flat black piping with a single angle canister then it would not be so special. I think that is why exhausts like this exist, for the sole purpose of variety. And maybe some top end gains. That is what I hear anyway.
