cams will be easy to install if your timing is already right.

Made an interesting observation! maybe this has something to do with it, so if anyone could help that would be awsome. I pulled out all the spark plugs and noticed that no. 1 and 3 were wet, you could smell the fuel on them, however, no. 2 and 4 were bone dry, even the pistons were dry. pistons 1 and 3 however were not. Could this be a possible suspect?

Hmm, read somewhere on the net that it might be wet because of no spark, better try another ignitor?

Yea, I had issue with the coilpack before I was able to start it, but I don't want to buy any, better test for spark on each one first.

Well I checked for spark, and sure enough, there was spark on both, so I'm going to let the gas evaporate tonight and see what I get tomorrow, but I doubt thats it. maybe new spark plugs?

Yea, but I realized something, I took out the fuel rail a few weeks ago to replace an injector, I didn't however, replace the o-rings on the rest of the injectors, I believe I'm probably leaking from the o-rings from those injectors for that reason. So on friday I'll got pick up the o-ring kit and replace this all.

I went to the dealer yesterday to pick up my o-rings and insulators for the injectors but apparently they couldn't find the insulator that fits the SR Redtop because its different from the blacktop and up. So I have to wait till monday because this one guy that works there can look up the JDM parts so hopefully I can get them by next week and install them

ok, this definately sounds like the problem. i had one injector that kept shredding o rings for some reason lol but got that fixed and the car ran fine... but that was only one injector. if you've got 2 then it definitely wouldnt run at all. good luck!

BTW: as for setting the CAS... you dont need to line up any of the chain links with anything. you just have to have it at TDC on the intake stroke (cam lobes on Cyl 1 facing away from each other. you can see the intake one through the oil cap) and then insert CAS appropriately. line CAS in about the middle and that's a good enough gestimation to get it running and THEN set it exactly

Waiting on my insulators, they should be at the dealer by tomorrow, or if not, friday the latest. I'm going to install them as soon as I get the insulator.
