Ok, I have searched on this topic, but I haven't found a clear answer. Can someone please tell me what size the bulbs are in the speedo cluster? I understand there are 3 that light up the guages, but then there are 3 for SLIP, AIRBAG, and TCS OFF, and then I assume 2 for the trip odometer/msg centre, and then a few in the other corner for ANTILOCK, ACTSUS, seatbelt etc.

I am going to LEDs but I am NOT going with Superbrightleds.com. I bought a bunch of them and put them in my GTR, and had to pull my dash apart 3 more times after I installed them to replace dead ones that didn't last 2 months, all dying one after the other hence having it apart so many times.

Then I found a set on ebay that were much brighter and lasted longer.

What size/style are the dash bulbs and how many are there of each?

I'm looking for: speedo cluster (ALL bulbs), analog clock, climate control

Thanks!

If I remember the cluster has 4 (rpm/speedometer/gas/temp) T10 size bulbs. When you install them test them with the dash apart still because the Positive and Negative have to be going the right way.The signals also have T10.All doors and area where feet go also have T10.The climate control and stuff I dunno.I'm soldering LEDs in there. The Dome lights are 3175 if I remember. All my interior bulbs come from Hong Kong.I bought all them on Ebay in bundles and came out cheaper.People say that's the worst way to go but why pay $10 for a pair of OEM when you can get two pairs of LEDs.

All little bulbs like the one on the ignition ring is size 5mm Wedge LED.I'll check my stuff later I still have the boxes or whatever. The climate uses 3mm bulbs I think.

After searching all those threads, I still can't find any info on bulb sizes for the trip odometer/info screen, and the opposite section for seatbelt, actsus, antilock etc., and the clock. Also, what about the glovebox?

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken (which is entirely possible), the information display on the Q is a VFD, which means the entire panel itself has the lighting sources in it. You'd probably need to replace the whole assembly.

Others may know better, though.

I tried

There are more threads, but I don't know if they have the info you need.

Hmm, I guess that's possible, but mine has only the right side burnt out, which leads me to believe there are 2 bulbs that illuminate it. Of course they could still be installed within the unit. I'll get to the bottom of it once I have the cluster out, I was just hoping to have an answer before I did it.

I've ordered my LEDS on ebay from australia, should be about 2 weeks.

I think I'm gonna do a writeup on this, because the info on NICO is very scattered and unclear. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to do this.

And thanks Lino, I did find some useful info in there.

I'm not sure if you're searching for the OEM P/N or an LED equivalent for the trip odometer.

You are correct that there are 2 bulbs illuminating the trip odometer/message center and they are replaceable. The P/N is 24860-60U00 at about $11/ea.

A cheaper option is one package of Radio Shack replacement bulbs for about $1.50 and wrap them around the base yourself. Easy stuff. Replace both while you've got it all pulled apart.

Thanks, I did all my bulbs in my Skyline GTR, including the climate control, so this should be pretty straight forward for me.

I may try the LED route that many people have done, a little bit of work with all the soldering in place but it would be worth it.
