Well, I'm not a HTM member....although I'd like to be. Problem is I'm broke as hell. But if I ever get a decent job then I'll join.

DECENT JOB LOLOL, good lord nearly everyone in HTM is broke. but we have our few sugar daddies that pay for massive amounts of liqour and camera equipment

Considering you live in ATL poses a slight problem. We're known for being a tight group of people that not only have cars in common, but lifestyle. Who knows, stick around to get to know us better and we'll make an ATL chapter

That'd be awesome because then we'd have a free room when we go down to Road Atlanta or NOPI

I'm about an hour from Road Atlanta and an hour from AMS. So yeah, free room, if you don't mind driving an hour to the track (either track that is).

Although, since I am actively looking for a "real" job, I may not be in Atlanta much longer...depending on what I find for work.

Ok guys, Hotel junk. I tried to find a cheap one around cool stuff since the big stuff isn't going down in Knox and it's just a sort of mid-point for all of this. It's next to Applebee's, O'Charley's, Rafferty's, Quaker Steak and several fast food places and a nice billiards club. We'll have plenty of choice for places to hang out friday night and saturday if anyone stays here that night. I think most people are heading home after the run though.

Book through the internet.....you get a much better price. The price listed there is $53.96. I called and they do have rooms and the internet price is cheaper.

I got my reservation. I got me and one other person staying in a room so far. We got room for 2 more. So if you need a roomate, post...and let me know. I should be arriving around 9 or 10 pm Friday night.

The difference is...when you are drunk you don't care what the hotel management says. And I don't plan on getting really drunk Friday night because we have to get up early Saturday.

But if we can get away with 5 in a room...I'm all for it. I don't really care. We can have 30 in our room if you want....so long as I get a bed

On the other hand, I want atleast one roomate to split costs.

I'd say get it. We know we have at *least* 5 people staying there....so 2 rooms is not a bad idea. Worse case scenario, we can cancel one of our reservations this upcoming week.

Ok....here's the information on the Atlanta caravan:

We will be meeting at the Chevron station at Chastain Rd and I-75. Exit 271 on I-75, and it's on the east side of the interstate.

We'll be leaving there at 7pm on Friday to head up to knoxville. Please let me know if you plan on meeting there so we know to wait on you. If you can, email me your name, type of car, and your cell phone #. My cell # is 404-819-5496 if you get lost.

Also, if you have a 2 way radio, I recommend bringing that as well. Cell phones usually don't work near the Blue Ridge Pkwy, so a 2 way radio is the best way to communicate.

If 7pm does *not* work for anyone, please let me know and we'll see what other arangements we can make.
