Your fortunate to live there, I live in Wisconsin there are very very few drift events, ***t i'd spend evey paycheck i'd get to go to events but yet again there are none......Haha you know something funny, I just posted up about how I never get pulled over..I just did like 15 min ago haha Karma's a *****. Got a 15 day for no front plate, but watch this dope video i'm going to make on how to pass the front plate inspection without drilling holes in my bumper haha

I'm not really INTO the whole drifting thing. It's cool and takes skill. And i understand why people do it in the street. But that's not what i personally bought my cars for nor am making them for.

But think of all those d1 and formula d guys where do you think those bastards started? I highly doubt the only times they practiced were at events that i'm sure were few and far between. Obviously it's stupid to go do in a public road in an intersection but these bastards were in an empty lot. leave em be. They got balls in my eyes to do it with all those curbs around. I'm not condoning doing it out in the middle of the day with little kids around or anything like that....

I'm not too into the drifting thing but it is cool to watch and fun nonetheless but i just don't have the money to buy tires like that. I was thinking of doing one of the next events they have around here, just for fun.

Man i just checked that wheretodrift website and we had one event on 5/28 but it was all the way in Nashville. Thats like 7 hours from my place and its $180. I really would like to never drift on the street but i have to find a empty parking lot about once every two months at about 130 on a sunday night. It really sucks. I love the south but not the place for drifting at all. I understand why everyone say keep it off the street but i havnt meet anyone who has never had a drift event around them say that. I dont think theres anything wrong with a couple times a year in a very smart place.

I really wouldn't call a parking lot a safe environment, especially when you consider how far an ambulance is from your location. Most track events have ambulances staged at their events or posted near by. I doubt that ambulances are posted anywhere near empty industrial parking lots. be safe

And I belive in the movie "Drift Bible" Keiichi Tsuchiya says to practice in parking lots or in the rain. ShiFt_OwneD. And yes I know it says not to perform any stunts that were in the video but honestly I don't think anyone listens to any of those messages.
