OK, let me just say that I live in Philly and my S14 is in such sad shape that the clear coat is peeling off of it and I can't even afford to drive the damned thing as much as I wished because it's just too expensive to to drive anymore, but I find the cash to go to events like NICOfest and drift and if I ever get coil overs and a diff on it I'd go to E-town for there drift events but I would never drift in public simply because it's against the law and honestly I don't even want to think about the liability I'd have to endure if something bad happened. What's going to happen when you go to do that again one night and the retard running up with the camera gets decapitated because you have a blow out, hit the curb and slice dudes head off with an exposed rim. I know your saying it'll never happen, but you can never say never.dennisplus wrote: They don't know what's like livng in the IE with just enough cash to keep your car running. Hit me up. Thanks!! which soundtrack did you like? checkem out though...good musicsumo357 wrote:truly awesome vid sharkerio. i liked the soundtrack too. screw the haters, but we do need to keep safety in mind. overall kudos
If they really want to take the time to find my plates and find me and nail me good for them,i'm still waiting, but until then, i'll be in parking lots that are in the middle of nowhere by a industrial park. And FYI i'm looking for the owner of the lot to see if he will let me use it to practice.Chaotic_Warlord wrote:
I'd watch where you post up illegal activities like that there buddy, goes to show that not only are you too broke/cheap to go to a real track but you lack the intelligence to not post up something like that on Youtube, I mean if the cops took the time they could clearly make out not only the license plate numbers but 5-0 could nail you with facial recognition...
Fear of what? Doing this on the "streets"? No I say something negative because stuff like this hurts the scene and the enthusiasts. I was able to run around with my modded S13 for such a long time with no fear of getting busted of anything. Then drifting hits it big time on the streets and people start doing stupid ****. I get pulled over 7 times in 6 months. All because my car is a high profile car. That's BS. Yes, there's fear of crashing and stuff in the streets, but I have more fear of having my car crushed or taken away for doing something that I can easily do at the track. 100-150 bucks is nothing compared to losing your car or getting your license suspended, or even worse jail time. I'd rather not risk that to my only car and many people feel the same. Those who have been around a while know.TTaristo wrote:lol. u guys are just picking on this guy. Before your post, Ive never seen him mention anything about the fact of not being able to take anyones criticism. He's been polite and very well mannered in every reply. As for the track vs. street, its common sence that the track is much more safe. I would have to say that my feedback for this video is that I like it very much. The drifting/control is very on point and the editing is awesome! Most people will see something and go directly to saying something negative towards your work due to reasons of fear or misjudgement. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK SHARKERIO
Because, it's "street" drifting. It's never legal. And who in their right mind would let some guys drifting in their lot and **** up the pavement? Even if it's in private property, it's still illegal. I mean, seriously, who can pass this off as a "legal" event? You've gotta be kidding me.TTaristo wrote:As for the facial/license plate recognition, I think weve advanced greatly in technology. Once again tell us what we do not know. Yes, the police may crack down on this if they needed too. How do you jump to conclusions and assume that its an illegal area in the first place. How do you know its not private property in which permission was granted to play on? You dont.
Wow, seems like a personal vendetta to me. So this explains why your so angry on the "street". How can you say this hurts enthusiast when this is how everything started? Whindy mountains and lots to perfect ones skill. Im sorry the police are profiling you but no one put a gun to your head and told you to drop in those coilovers, dish out a whole months paycheck on wheels, place on that mean aero, and etc........ You've basically signed up for the harrassment. If you were smart enough you should have known that all this comes with the territory. Dont put the blame on others for your decisions or give excuses to justify your previous encounters with the law.ArticDragon192 wrote:

I'll admit the car control was there, but that doesn't make it alright.
In a previous post I said that "street" drifting was referred to as being "non track". Meaning it was done on city and/or private property. City property is illegal but private property is not. Private property refers to right of ownership in which he or she as the owner has ability to dispense as they please. Rendering the idea of being able to drift on this private property if permission is given with the owner. How do you know that there wasnt a type of deal worked out ? You and I dont. Leaving You and I nothing to say about this situation.ArticDragon192 wrote:Because, it's "street" drifting. It's never legal. I guess your claiming your one of the OG's here. How do you know that spots were burnt and people stopped hitting the canyons if you werent doing it yourself? I smell HYPOCRITE! Your wrong about the smart ones getting over the streets and heading to the events. Its the ones that can afford the events who head to the track and the true OG's never forget the streets.ArticDragon192 wrote:Street drifting was cool 3 years ago, when people barely knew was drifting was. When drifting was still on the DL. But then it blew up and stupid people burned places. The whole scene went down. Cops started knowing what drifting was and what cars to look for. That's why most of the OG people stopped hitting the streets, stopped hitting the canyons, because the risk wasn't worth it. And with all the events going on nowadays, the smart ones got over hitting the streets.

we are not grumpy. we are smart and care about the image that drifting has and how its portrayed by the media and people who know nothing about it. retarded statements like that is whats ALWAYS going to hold it back because of your immaturity and stupidity.dennisplus wrote:Just ignore these grumpy "stay on the track" people. and you will never be as good as the person who spent that much money on a track day because in your entire life of retarded 30mph parking lot "drifting" you wont get the experience 1 solid track day will provide.spooled240 wrote:

i am minding my own business because last time i checked i was a global moderator on this message board, so anything that happens on here is my business.dennisplus wrote:Man, I'm not here to start anything. Dude , just stop. There has to be events in your area. You will have SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun there. You wont have to be looking over your shoulder or worrying about the police at an event. Its ALL DAY FUN for everyone. And you can learn sooooooooo much more then you ever will in those tiny lots.dennisplus wrote:Man, I'm not here to start anything. Just mind your own business. You think i have money????????? I sold my bed for christ sake. I borrowd $100 from a guy in a wheelchair to make the All Star Bash East Coast. You either want this sh*t or you dont.dennisplus wrote:ok. The closest event that we have now is FormulaD that's about 3 hours away from where we live and cost money just to watch now include gas tires food. It's not that we don't want to it's just we don't s#!T money(no offense). I'll be at a track as soon as I can but until then . . . the street is all we got.
i know ill never stop people from street drifting. there will always be immature people like you who dont see the benefit from track driving, and thats fine, because until you do an actual large scale event on a track/skidpad you will NEVER realize how little you know about performance driving.dennisplus wrote:Ok. Thank you. That's all that was needed to be said. As far as getting others into trouble . . . this happens with everything not just drifting. If we stop someone else will start. Whether it be airsoft guns or skateboarding etc. Sorry man. You're not stopping anyone.
dont EVEN use that ****ing excuse. are you kidding me? you live near LA. thats the god damned drift mecca of the US.dennisplus wrote:ok.
