hey guys I just got word that my cousin is having a grad party and i dont usually attend many family functions anymore (long story), but i feel compelled to go so thats that. If anyone wants to pick up my cooler, pick up twenty bucks from me to grab the patties I promised im more than willing to help out. Im in Riverside and Ill drive a resonable distance to see to it that my part is taken care of. Sorry again I hope to make it to the next one.

I can't say for sure, but on a rainy day, one of the garages will definitely have a lot of room.. its the least ysed garage at fashion Valley... we may just have to play this one by ear, and caravan there if need be... its hard to describe exactly which garage it is...

**update** as of 4:06 pm on Tuesday, December 8th , it now states only a "30%" chance of a "few showers" on Thursday, friday and Sunday... Saturday is still at 40% chance, but again, "few showers" and "30%" are both downgrades from what was stated earlier this morning... so let's continue to watch this and see what happens

Depending on how hard it's raining, or if it's raining at all will dictate if I go to this or not. I might just drive down there and go to like Pala or something.

ok, so i just checked the weather channel, and its uo to 70% chance of rain on saturday...

so i think we should hold off on the food, we won't be able t BBQ in this kinf of weather... but maybe we can still meet up at the garage in fashion valley mall... if you guys don;t want to do that, then we need to postpone the meet, maybe until after christmas and make it a "1st of the year meet"

as much as i would want to come. this is my first meet by the way, it doesnt look like its going to work. if were postponing everything and then at the last minute things end up happening, alot less people are going to show up. i saw we should make another date for a first of the year meet. where its a nice day out and no worrys of rain and other mishaps

OK, after brainstorming, I really think that one of the garages at Fashion valley mall would be the best place to meet up... the directions to the mall are as follows...

1. I-5 S toward San Diego 2. Slight left at I-805 S 7.9 mi3. Take the exit onto CA-163 S toward Downtown 2.9 mi4. Take the Friars Rd exit 0.3 mi (Take the Friars road exit, but once you start to make the turn up towards Friars road, get in the left lane... DO NOT get iun the left lane until you start to turn up towards Friars, otehrwise, you'll just get right back on the expressway!)5. Turn left at Friars Rd (stay in FAR left lane)6. Turn left at the first stop light into Fashiopn Valley Mall7. Turn left at end of drive (can only turn left here)8. Make the first right9. Make the first riight again10. Continue until you get to the stop sign, go through the stop sign... make the SECOND left into the garage after the stop sign!

I have no doubt that the rain will wash away some of the participants... however, ESP is coming down from Canada, so I am DEFINITELY gonna make it... We may still have a decent showing... (we can always have another meet up in OC at the beginning of the year)

I say folks should just bring their microsuede towels with them, and we can dry the cars off in the garage, hang out for a bit, and then head over to the mall to get some food... (or we can head to the cheesecake factory which is attached to the mall but is obviously indoors...fashion Valley mall, like every other mall in San Diego, is mainly an outdoors mall with no cover)

I had to ask for the day off and that means I work tomorrow so I'm going to this rain or shine. I however, won't make it to the Stillen detail clinic because my gf doesn't get outta work until 10:15. So by the time she gets out and we leave her house it'll be 11am. We'll be getting to Stillen at about noon, the time we should be leaving.
