So I finally got confirmation that I have next Saturday off. w00t.

Hey Rob, you think you can take a look at my plates for me? You do it super quick by now. If not, it's ok man.

And Rob Vegan... like you're been saying... it gets dark by 4:30 now. I think we should leave Stillen no later than noon if the clinic is over or not.

well that's for you guys to decide on... i'll have mine on my car at the meet... I'm getting the following one made for my car...

this one includes both Sedans and coupes in the club name...

if you guys want something else, then folks with design options should bring theirs to the meet so folks can vote on em

Hey,

A bit change of plan for me. How long are you guys planning to stay there?

I might not be able to make it because the following week is finals and portfolio review for me. I need to prepare myself for my review (senior portfolio review that is). I can't just sit back on this one and have to push for a good review.

I will try and make it if I finish a good amount of work.

Not really feeling that design. It just doesnt seem to make sense. I see the A/C and A/S as well as the SoCal, but what is that last S for? Most people who look at it will be confused as to what it means

I didn't think about that. Sedan's and Coupe's doesn't really make sense. How much are these stickers costing Doc ???

Unfortunately Mr. Vegan, I won’t be able to make it to the Meet.. Trust me, I tried (baby-sit, wife is working) but I will be meeting ESP prior so he can pick up his new toy.. Since I already agreed to bring chips, I’ll buy them and ask ESP if maybe he can drop them off for me. So I’ll get Doritos, Lays and other type or I can also ask my buddy elmz370 to drop some off for me.

This is just a meet / bbq.

We (LA/OC and surrounding areas members) are meeting at Stillen and then driving down to San Diego together. Once there we will mosey around and look at the cars (check out new mods, or future mods you plan on getting etc), then cook up some food, eat. Mosey around a bit more. Then when you feel the need you can drive home.

Yup, I can bring whatever you hand off to me!

BlackNWhite is right...we should leave Stillen relatively early. Also, what route is everyone planning on taking to get to San Diego? opekone_1988 and I are hoping to meet somewhere just off 5-South so I can get the exhaust from him...

On a side note, I'm in San Francisco right now. We took the Redwood Highway from Grants Pass down to Crescent City while it was dark out...it was like a real life Need For Speed! Seriously though...we don't have roads like that up in Canada, and that makes me sad...so very sad......

ESP, you should drive Lombard street while you're in San Francisco if you haven't already.

I was planning on taking the 405 south, until it hits the 5 south. And take that the rest of the way. The idea of using the toll road was thrown out but no one voted for or against it.

Hey Guys,

The STILLEN/Adam's detailing clinic will be starting at 9 and will conclude around noon.

Look forward to seeing you all here!

Unfortunately the GT R suspension has been sent off to Penske for re-building and the Altima is locked up in the front lobby so I'm not sure yet what I'll be rolling down to the meet in. Maybe our new 370z? But, there really isn't anything cool done to it yet...

So we will be leaving Stillen around 1 or 2, giving other members (not going to the detailing clinic) a chance to get there. We should be at the spot around 2 or 3

glad you like it.. as I mentioned, I wanted something that incorporated coupes and sedans in the name... I think this does it... it catches the eye, and make people wonder... "what the hell is that"

its pouring like crazy here in SD, and it NEVER rains....on that note, its suppose to rain this coming weekend, from Thursday - Sunday. so you guys might wanna think of another meeting spot that's out of the rain....or get a spot by the gazebos or canopies......just a thought...

yeah, I'm gonna continue to follow the weather report... yesterday, it stated only a 10% chance of rain on for Saturday, Dec. 12th, today, it states 40% chance... those numbers will be updated everyday this week, I'll continue to check it and hopefully it will change...

I just got off the phone with Tim at SFR. He told me that he hasn't got my transmission back from his friend who's an expert with transmissions. So there's a huge chance I might not go. I told Tim to get back to be ASAP if he will get my car done by Wednesday or Thursday. Can't be Friday because I have a contract for work that need to be done in Ventura county . I'll keep you guys posted weather if I'm going or not.

i strongly suggest that if you are spending this kind of cash on the transmission, just do a manual swap. The CVT isn't going to hold up for long under boost. There's a reason Nissan is offering an extended warranty on these trannies for free.

that's some bulls*** how long you've gone without your car... wait... oh yeah, are you still doing what we discussed last time regarding your transmission?

money's not really an object for Ricky.... but according to what i remember him saying about his transmission, this time, his TURBO will hold up... I'm 99% sure of it...

Yeah they are still beefing up the transmission bruh, thru the way we discussed. Last part came in and Tim took the whole transmission to his friend last Thrusday.

Yeah with the mods Tim is doing to the transmission it's guaranteed to hold up. On the money part you're right bruh, but I want all you guys and gals to know that I consider myself a regular person. I was blessed with my company to be successful and make me millions of dollars annually, but I don't let that get to my head and make me a D**K. I live a simple life. I don't forget where I came from. I just say if we work hard making it then we might as well have fun with it right. "ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKE RICKY MAD."

Well I'm sure we'd all still enjoy your company if you wanted to join us in the meet still Ricky. You can just bring your truck (or whatever it is you're driving now).

If you guys remember last year, it started sprinkling on our way down to San Diego. If we need to move locations, did you guys want to move totally or just another part of the park thing

Rob, all wethae reports indicate that that second storm is definitely goin to be here this weekend...

sucks that of the 4 weekends it rains during all of 2009, two of them are in December... if it rains this Sturday the way it was raining on Monday, I will not be going... its no point..

the best we may be able to do is move the meet over to the parking garage at Fashion Valley mall ... if its raining, then there's one garage that should be relatively empty... Obviously, the BBQ would not go through, but we can still have the meet at the mall, and maybe grab a bite to eat there....
