Unfortunately, I will be sans right-hand side mirror. We ran into something on our way back from Laguna Beach this evening. The only damage that we could see was to our mirror (which is, essentially, gone...), and we drove around the block it happened to see if we could find whatever was on the receiving end of the damage. Nada. Do you guys think it would be possible for me to pick up a new side mirror from one of the local dealerships within a week's time? I'd really rather not have to drive all the way back up to Canada without it.....

...also, if anyone has any industrial strength 3M double sided tape and the necessary accoutrements (ie. rubbing alcohol, etc) to attach my newly purchased AIT CF roof wing, that'd be greatly appreciated! Yes the meet is still on. Yes we will be meeting at the mall, and sure, I'm down for TGIF.

ESP: I have some 3M tape I used for backup for my hid ballasts, I'm not sure how "industrial" it is but it should do the job if you want me to bring it. I can also bring some rubbing alcohol if you need it still.

To all the OC/LA guys: My phone is broken so all you that had my number [Daniel, Robert, Louie, Chris, etc) It would be helpful if you could send me your numbers again so I can call and verify that you are still on so we don't leave anybody behind at Stillen if they are running late tomorrow.

I think the Stillen thing starts around 930 I'll double check in a bit. I'm aiming to leave my house (about 15-20 miles from Stillen) around 845 or 9 depending on if I feel like cleaning my car up a bit in the morning.

Edit: ESP sorry but I forgot my 3M tape is at my dad's house out in Chino and I won't have time to stop by there in the morning, so sorry but I can't bring it to the meet.

......two weeks before xmas?!?!?!

Yeeeeah, Nat and I decided it was too much of a gong show after spending half an hour trying to get out of the parkade, so we just came back up to Newport. Unfortunately I forgot to grab peoples' phone numbers before we headed out so I couldn't text any of you guys! Also, since Canada has the worst cell phone rates and data plans in the world, I have turned off data roaming on my iPhone since it would cost me approx $30/mb to use it here in the US...that's why I didn't get Jose's eMail!

Oh well...I certainly hope everyone had a good time!

Wow bummer. Sorry about that ESP. I realized once we got to the audio shop that you weren't going to be able to find us since nobody exchanged numbers, We thought you'd be able to get Jose's email but I guess that fell through too.

Glad you guys got "home" safe me and Jose nearly hit these two cars that crashed in the far lane on our way home. Along with a ton of other accidents seen today. Hope your guys' honeymoon wasn't rained on.

Thanks Jose for letting me follow you most of the way home it was super helpful. Aside from the 15 people who didn't show up, the rain, the mall parking lot, the crappy drivers, the MIA status of ESP and BNW, and the horrible waitress tonight was real fun. In all seriousness it was fun, got to meet ESP and the lady briefly, watched Doc work on his car and that weird looking blue altima for a bit Took a couple pictures, and met Doc's wife and daughter, it was pretty fun. Obviously not the best turnout, but the few who made it, it was a nice eventful Saturday.

I'll take blame for that ESP! On monday, we had one of the worst rains in recent years here in San Diego. Over 2 inches fell in a 24h period... (for those of you who don't know, San Diego usually only gets about 2-3 inches of rain all year, if that!) So when they said that it would be raining Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they made it seem like this second strom would be as bad as the first... in those conditions, I would NEVER attend an outdoors meet because it would be pointless, and thinking it was going to be that bad, I tried to find one of the few covered places for us to meet... just didn't think it would be crazy traffic due to the rain...

but this rain hasn't really ben that bad at all, nothing like eralier this week.. this was typical San Diego (when it does rain) on and off scattered showers, and we easily could have had a meet in this.. but hindsight is always 20/20...

I nany ase, all we were worried about was you, and hoping that you didn't get lost somewhere. Anyway, we will have a 1st of the year canyon run at Julian in January. I will start a new thread on this later this month. The Juliam run should last abuot 3-4 hrs, so we will start early in the morning. Last time, we had about 16 cars, but most were Z's and G's. I'm hoping we can get a good turnout of Altima Sedans and Coupes at this one. I will talk to Andy about setting this up as we need someone that knows Julian to lead us! will be in touch about that soon...

ESP. did you happen to buy a disposable cell phone for the time that ur here in the sates? That would probably be the easiest way to go!

Decals look good. I think they are a little big for rear quarter windows maybe if you put it on the windshield or rear window it would look best.
