I bought a G35 Coupe (2200 miles away) without ever having driven one. In fact, I'd never seen the interior of one.

So, I feel ya.

having driven both of those "cars" i can honestly say, id rather have a foley catheter repeatedly inserted and ripped out of me, than make either of those purchases.

I had a PT Cruiser as a rental once and it wasn't that bad. Cold A/C. Decent maneuverability. Plenty of room for my luggage. My complaints mostly centered around the location of switches and such.

Yep. It's worth $9K. Not $18K.

i always loved the XLR. so sharp, and dead sexy. unfortunately cadillac went all half mast on us with the XLR-V which wasnt nearly worth 75k, let alone the 100k they charged. Same with the flabby and dated STS-V

469hp is nice, but ony with a decent suspension.

EDIT:
Having owned two STS's (95, 03) i can honestly say that the Northstar V8 may go down in infamy akin to the Cadillac V8-6-4 of the 70s, for its horrific and universal oil leak issues.
