correct building it for turbo. For the present being say if the motor where in my hands right now, i would build it up to about 300+ and then turbo charging it.

And, I've never heard anyone complain about the S15 motor, just heard rumors that the transmission is weaker, but how many people do you know with an actual S15 setup that can confirm that?

this was a long time ago. Members on this site said that they rather go with the S13 instead of the S15 motor simply b/c the s13 is more versatile then the S15.

Does your Uncle do swaps of that nature for a living?

If he doesn't it might be more complicated then he thinks...

the clip will be around $6-$7 itself. plus around another $1500 or so in parts, maybe more. then the $1000 for your uncle to put it in. yep thats around $8k.

i've got 2. 1 is S14 KAt, the other is gerbils on crack S13, untill i get the new manifold and turbo for the S14.... when a new DOHC engine and 5spd transmission go in with the old turbo setup. At that point, anyone want to adopt a recovering crack addict gerbil??

There is no way in hell there are more RB26's than RB20s and RB25s combined. If your going to vote, vote honestly, and not on what you plan on having.

KA24DE

frankly, i like the motor. In the future i plan to pick up another DE as a spare, or to rebuild. With all the swap frenzy i was at first all about the CA, then the SR. Now, i feel fine with just building up an n/a KA. Perhaps when i purchase a fastback (like i would want to) i'll probably go SR, mildly tuned. But other than that, i really want to buckle down on the suspension of my car, and reading up on different driving techniques/strategies for this coming autocross season.

I'd like to have a fully built NA SR22DE. then strip my 240 down to almost nothing so its very light and use it as a road race car. then when im a rich engineer, get an infiniti M45.
