Straight line acceleration is only one metric, but one I emphasis. Having shown cars more powerful than mine what the a** end of my car looks like through superior driving and pedaled cars straight and fast with a hell of a lot more power than they have traction I can tell you with authority that scenario you paint is BS. :nono:

Powerful vehicles, hell, moderately powered vehicles, tend to weed out the unskilled who push their limits.

I completely disregarded the tornadoes at first and just imagined going 0-60 in a sofa while in a living room.

It's an oft-held and easily-stated position for people with 150hp.

Yeah, I heard about those tornadoes over your way this weekend. Glad you're ok. :)
I wish I was home during all the awesome storms. Its overcast and wet here in the pacific northwest. Blech. All the rain without the show.

thats a sick video no matter what the comparison is too, granted its an odd match up. as far as everyone saying about stopping, or turning, you can go tit for tat with towing and and people hauling.

Amays, I didnt thinking they had 14" rotors, but I could be wrong. Seems overkill for a 1500 even with all that weight. They just put 14" rotors on the 2011 Sierra HDs all the way around.

If I was footing the bill for this escalade and turbo set up I would have gone with a Yukon Denali, nearly $20k cheaper.
