Here's how the night went... I was over at my friend keith's playing some drinking games on his back patio and she came over. I was kind of drunk, and as soon as she got there a blunt got passed around. I rarely smoke so I didn't hit it, but she did get really high.

The reefer does strange things to some people, I get super paranoid and most of the time forget to make conversation, some people get really self conscious, since she was smoking and you weren't, she might be thinking you were judging her, even if it was just the reefer talking.
I would try and maintain from a distance, find out whats going on from her friends, stopping by her work should be a last resort. I would say 9 times out of 10 girls get the stalker vibe, if you were randomly stopping by to bring her flowers and you two were cool, that's different, but if shes giving you the cold shoulder, best to respect that and let her have her space.
The random drop-bys is good for friends, but I would never want someone I was dating to just swing by my place to see what I was doing.
On the a$$ side of things, I was dating a girl for a few months, super vibe and things were just going as near as perfect as I could imagine. She talked about her ex bf just saying "Lets go to the mall and pick you out some shoes" or some such on her birthday. Basically saying the guy didn't put a lot of effort into things. Plus he drank a lot, wasn't super bright, etc.. On her birthday, 6-7 weeks after we started dating, I picked her up an Iphone off Craigslist, since she complained about the phone she had a lot. Her friends all thought it was the coolest gift ever, she couldn't stop talking about it with me... When we broke up (her choice) she said one of the reasons was because she still wasn't over her ex. So sometimes even when you think you are way better than her ex's, it doesn't matter because they don't want to be taken care of, some people feel more comfortable being unfulfilled.
