cuz enthalpy sucks, a rom tune for jordans set up is no good, his car needs a perfected dyno tune, not a PRE set rom. plus who wants to keep shipping off a ecu just untill the car idles right? waste of time imo. a power fc with fix it all

You could also fine tune with an afc controller if u dont wanna pay for the power fc on top of what u payed for the rom tune...

Monitoring and diagnostics is about the only thing I would trust an SAFC to, its a dangerous way to tune.

lol no, 245 shipped for a AL driveshaft.

And I talked about the issue with Jordan,

and getting a tuned Power FC is nice, but could cost double what Enthalpy does, so that's the sacrifice with mail order tunes.

However, Enthalpy sends you new chips, you don't have to send your ecu back, so it should only take a few days to get them once he ships them out.

still say he should get a power fc, i dont believe in someone shipping you a TUNE... tunes come with dyno runs and some time... not in the mail

hmm....

If Enthalpy can make Cory AKA Nissanfanatic's KA truck motor make 520+WHP... I think he can handle 400 in an SR

Jordan should at least let him revise the tune one more time before taking the AEM dive into 2k +

yeah im going to get my tune from enthalpy revised in the mean time to see if it hopefully works better cuase i want to try that first. But whenim ready im getting the AEM EMS with out a doubt cause i want to be able to tune it if i need to whenenver where ever i need plus i saw that one of the features included with the aem ems is 2 step luach control plus the aem ems is the ultimate tuning source IMO.

Some people don't live in places where it's practical to trailer a car 3-4 + hours to a reputable tuner with decent facilities, better than a hack SAFC job a rom tune is the only option some of us, myself included, have. Plus I've heard that the PFC advances timing on its own.
