The emotions are sick, no doubt. I almost ended up with a set but decided to go with nismos. I would have had either cr kais or xd9s but it took me so long to decide between the two that i eventually found some nismos for a good price.

megan racing street series for me, but you should look into POWERED BY MAX they designed their coilovers to be super slammed and they're only 1 grand. they make a set for the r32 (works for the z32 aswell) the megans are about 800 but why not pay 200 bucks more and get the stiffer spring rates and trackability of the PBM's? well depending on what you do with your car of course if its just mild to no track, and mainly street use, then megans may be good for you.... depends on your goals and your budget... me i like the idea of being dumped on track spring/rebound rates on the streets i love harsh ride quality it takes some getting used to but its not that bad.

Veilside Racing Andrew V 18x11R+31 18x10F+15 effective (I think, not entirely sure...)

Wow the Megan street costs like 1500dollars over here, and that's to much for me for what they are. Hm never heard of Powered by max, they look good, could be an option, and do R32 coils fit without modification? Yeah it's mainly street use and mild track use, i love a harsh stiff ride too, i had my old car less then 2inch of the ground so i know what it's like

LMAO at people liking harsh rides. Just because coiloves are super stuff, doesn't mean they're great. It's all in the valving. It's about how smooth the coils ride. Seriously, you get over super stiff in about a week, lol.

R32 coils do fit without modifications, but recall R32 coils are built with R32 valving. So they might not work the best on a Z32.

i realize this and i never said stiff coils meant they are the best, but if you think about it slamming your car on any coilovers regardless of valving your going to have a harsh ride seeing as your suspension isnt getting the travel that its supposed to. and its not all about valving you can have good valving and 15kg spring rates and your car is going to feel stiff as s***. its a combination of everything. valving, spring rates, rebound rates preload, everything combined makes a good coilover not just valving. besides how do you even tell if its got good valving before you put it on your car? everybody says good valving in their ad but how do you even measure that?

but as far as the r32 coils on the z32, building the coils for r32 valving i'm guessing just means they built them to perform under the weight of the r32, well the z32 and the r32 curb weight's are close enough that i dont think it'd make that much of a difference. especially if you're not tracking your car who cares.

Ive ridden on Tein RAs on an FD with 14/12k springs rates. Rode so smooth. You could barely tell it was that stiff. So yes, it's mostly in the valving. Valving can be measured through shock dynos or just through experience. Lowering the car doesn't make it ride more harsh. My car actually rode smoother once I put the new shocks on compared to my old set up, which was all stock, and then Tanabe springs on stock shocks.

Other things that can affect harshness are pillowball endlinks on control arms and pillowball upper mounts on coilovers.

WIth regards to the R32 coilovers, thier car's are built differently from ours. Weight distribution plays a significant role. Not to mention, that even though the R-chassis front suspension is very similar to ours, they aren't exact.

Can we run R32 without problems. Sure. Is it ideal? No. I mean, why run R32 coils when many company makes coilovers for our chassis already. If we were limited in parts, then yeah, do it. But we're not. So there's no need to run parts off another chassis.

BTW, that pics posted earlier, so cheater. The pic in your sig shows your true height. Either either jacked from behind, on a dip, or a mix of the two. Nice try,.
