Well there hasn't been alot of much going around lately, and I'm bored so i thought i'd use this opportunity to post a little upgrade thread (since i can't afford to build it lol). It'll basically be a few write-ups on how to install certain things and what not, also to let the CA community in on what I am doing. So enjoy, if you can, its pretty basic stuff, but for the newcomers, it might help lol

Heres what I am starting with. Bone stock CA18 running 12psi and a walbro fuel pump

The Parts^^List includes the following:-CXRacing 3" Catback Exhaust-CXRacing Exhaust Manifold-Nismo Type A Fuel Pressure Regulator and Autogage FP gauge.-Glowshift Direct Oil Filter Adapter and Oil Press. and Temp. Senders-Autometer Phantom Oil Temp gauge.-KA24DE Throttle Body-HKS Turbo Timer w/ PnP harness

Theres the newest, and FINAL upgrade for the year, unless somehow I win again on CXRacing lol but my funds have run out for parts, besides maintainance, so now im just waiting to get my car back to put all this good stuff on! Pics will be available by late March to Mid-April. wish me luck!

I feel your pain, Ryan bought my T04E and I still miss it. My TD05s are too small and two is dumb. Looks like I will have to fork about $1500 for a new screw.

I need something big, externally gated with a divided T4 flange. You have so many choices with the T2 flange.

im going to try and make this as reliable as it can be with 350whp. i think the 2871R can do it. keep it bottom mount and looking clean. nobody around here where i live as ever seen anything like a CA before.

I didn't know that was the only turbo you had Mike. I just assumed you had turbo's to go with those manifold. Now I almost feel bad...almost...

Don't, you are going to love that thing. I was running it at .4 before my motor lost compression and a buddy with an SR was messing with me. We stepped on it and his car started to pull away right before my gate cracked and all hell broke loose. I went to plaid in the blink of an eye.

He still talks about it. When I remind him that was like 30% of what it could do he looks at his stock S14 turbo with hate in his eyes.

I think I equipped it with the kit spring, 0.4-1.0 kilo

That turbo was a killer, literally.

well heres a *small* little update...

i started my 2nd college automotive class (HVAC System), and it sucks like pam anderson..ha

on a AWESOMENESS note, I won ANOTHER $100 from CXRacing this morning, and i get my Financial Aid Balance Check tomorrow!

so heres the deal, i can buy ONE of the following from CXRacing:

1). Order an Oil Cooler for $80+shipping2). Order a SR20 Radiator for $60+shipping

what do you guys think? im leaning towards the SR Radiator as it would give me room for my BOV later..only thing is i would have to route the upper hose to the other side..doesn't look too bad though..

http://www.rhombus-tuning.com/...t=346

one more upgrade coming up!

all of the above?

thats a hell of alot more work re-routing and looks so tacky IMO when SR guys do it to KA radiators. not to mention now you are running hot fluid all over the fing places instead if just doing it right the second time.

you're probably right..not to mention it'll probably cost me another $20 or $30 for routing it over to the other side..

btw, Gabby, what did you ask for when you bought that [ 3" heater hose ] from Napa??

well some good news and bad news.

Good:

-I bought an 89-93 Skyline Radiator and 14" Fan from CXRacing for $132 shipped.-it should be here this week-i'll post a review in the "eBay" thread since some consider CXRacing "eBay" products.-its warmer out (high 30's low 40's) and if the weather continues to improve i'll bring the car home soon

Bad:

-I started school last week so it'll limit my time to put this stuff in-My car is still not home and I dont have access to the shop im taking to so I can go work on it-It could still be until late March to early April till i get to install this stuff

Stayed Tuned!..

I picture you runing across a meadow in a calico skirt and I am understandably disturbed by that.
