Obviously we can all agree that there are some lame parts in those movies, but so what. What annoys me the most are people these days who says there one set of rules to be a car enthusiast.
Yeah i enjoyed watching the movies i suppose, not because of the fact that the plot was well thought out (NEVER) or the cars looked good (extra never) and any sort of racing they did was cgi (i.e. i drift up multi-lvl parking garage's in my sleep) heh but somehow i still sit there for 2 hours when its on. They are definately humorous, i laugh at hollywoods interpretation of the tuner world, and once the movie is over every riced out civic in town was out on the roads. Heh in the first one the ten second drag races were like 5 minutes long, and they shifted like 12 times without ever shifting down haha. The only decent cars they ever put in there (i.e. skyline fromm fast and furious 2, and s15 from tokyo drift) get wrecked in like 5-10 mins to be replaced by something inferior (an evo in both movies....wonder who mitsu screwed)
Anyways im just ranting cause its ridiculous there are two posts on front page about fast and furious, which was an okay movie (from a comedy point of view), but i sure as shyt wont go waste my money seeing the fourth one in a rice-packed theatre, so i can watch vin diesel and paul walker represent the american racer. HAHA can you imagine how the japs laugh when they watch tokyo drift? Especially with that alabama-accent-having kid, that couldn't even drive, wrecked like everything in the movie. Gah. Im done./vent
*Edit- Im glad they didn't let the s15 run, they wouldv'e completely obliterated it like they do with every nissan they get theyre hands on. You know how many skylines they built/wrecked for the 15 mins of coverage in the second one? I know they were kit cars, not real gt-r's, but still. Hollywood kills cars.
