A friend of mine said that its well worth the $7 dollars a can to help with restoration of the compression in ur engine...just feed it into any vaccum line in ur car and let the car run...

What do you guys think / have experienced with this product

i used it on an '02 corolla and a '95 plymouth. didn't make any difference on the corolla, except while i was feeding it the engine wanted to die. there was probably no carbon build up on there, so nothing for seafoam to clean up.

on the plymouth it might have made a slight difference. ran a little bit smoother. but i dunno if the difference was light and day.

i've heard ppl on the z32 forums saying this stuff is great for curing rough idles and stuff. it doesn't hurt to try, i guess. just make sure you don't let it suck to too much in at once ==> hydrolock. just let it slowly sip.

only thing is you might need someone else to hold your idle throtlle open while you are using it. you don't have to do this on all cars, though. might not have to on the 240.

oh yeah, and expect lots of smoke. though i didn't have much at all, really.

Yes sea foam is amazing, I've used it on my MR2, my 240, my brothers MR2-T, friends GTI, etc.

Feed it into a vacuum line while someone else gives it a little throttle so the car doesnt die. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then turn it on and rev it. It should smoke a lot...

My brothers MR2 shot giant clouds of smoke out of his 3" dual exhaust and pretty much filled the block hahah. The GTI definately ran smoother with a slight bit more throttle response.

just make sure to replace your sparkplugs and O2 sensor(s) afterwards, it wrecks havoc on those parts (it's the smoke)

Your wecome!

It will smoke the block out. Too bad they don't tell you that on the bottle, all it says is "use seafoam in a well ventilated area as fuming will be extreme"Fuming? last i checked fumes were pretty invisible... that smokescreen billowing out the back of my car was not. All the neighbors thought i had roasted my engine

titanium, i didnt have any problem with my sparkplugs or o2 sensor after using the stuff. My plugs were a little fouled from before (long story) but they were starting to clear up before I used the foam, and looked fine afterwards.
