like there are some out there that have a purpose and people actualy break out the math to figure out where and how it should go, those i dont mind. but most just go to a shop and say i want a wing, or i want a wing with good downforce but dont take the time to fig where it should go and at what angel....

yeah jersery has alot of those kids. out of the entire town i live in there are 2 decent cars a mustang ( hey its fast give respect where its due) and an rx-7. amazingly the kid got this rx-7 for christmas!!! its jus not fair some times.... i work my *** off then something breaks on the engine i have now further taking away from my funding for the sr. i dont think ill ever be able to get my clip its the true the kids who work hard for their money and do almost all the work on their cars them selves jus dont get it easy. but getting off subject i dont like those kid no sir. i personally think my stock 89 240 would rip half those cars.

What makes someone a ricer?Cuz someone got a car thats not as fast as it looks like?

I think that if i would rice my SX that wouldn´t be that bad. Cuz its fast, well its stock but with the CA18DET engine. I like the look of that Alum Wings and al that bodykits.

IMO someone is rice if they are all show and no go.... (sorry to use the cliche) and the show is not even good, lkike half assed. or tehy try to talk them selfs up and end up with a stock civic....

i have no bumpers a half done "custom" interior and a stock KA24de

but it's all due to project "save the 240"

i bought it riced out the wazoo and now i'm bringing it back...i'm redoing the interior back as much as i can black (from red and black)

took off the erebuni crap kit (replacing it w/ gp sports)

keeping the engine stock for a few months though :-\

My definition of a ricer is........well....someone who modifies there car in a very distasteful manner, i.e., aluminum wings, body kts that are played out, horrible vinyl graphics, the clear hood squirters, the l.e.d. exhaust tips, any tip for tha matter and no a whol exhaust system. Lots of underglow.....and more for me at least. Also, when, lets say, honda owners, put nissan stuff on thier rides, only cuase they know nissan owns all of the import world =)

Yeah there were a bunch of stupid *** loookin cars at my school... this one kid that actually used to be one of my friends has an old cavalier (i mean bad paint, rusting..) and has a loud *** exhaust on it with an erector set wing on the back... i am always wondering what the hell he was thinking.... but now recently he got a pontiac Fiero and i guess he used the same muffler and had custom piping run to it because it sounds almost the exact same as his cavalier. I wouldnt doubt if it broke down on the road. but now he thinks he is cool with his beat-up Fiero. I cant wait til i get him at a light.....

You know I think I could roll with a red underglo kit;). No really I'm just kidding, but some of those things...WHEN DONE TASTEFULLY will accent your car for the better. Just make sure you have the speed to back it up if you're talkin sheat. BTW- Wings = only needed when you actually need the downforce, meaning you're probably putting down at least 400rwhp. And even then its not those APC pieces of s*** you see on hondas. That makes me sick.

actually like you said when done tastfully neon can look good, did you see that guy at the lot in Fredericksburg with the white 300zx and had blue neon on the front under the part of his bumper that was like glass(you see through it) and it shined through to his engine, that looked pretty good

Kids at my school are broke..and I guess arent into that scene as much...we're mostly in to either what we can getour hands on or those BIG GHETTO cadilliacs, Impalas, Caprices etc with 22 inch rims..Yes f.y.i there is a cultural difference I'm black and my school is like 98% black..it' s odd as to how cars change with culture....I can't stand those big body cars though..I can't wait for my nimble little 240 when school starts on August 11th

I love my school's populous. It's a small charter school so last year there were about 40 high school students total, but me and all the people I roll with have good taste in cars. Rex with his 240 painted/tastful kit/rims/intake/exhaust/planning on turboing it soon, Ian with the 240, Sean with the Prelude (no longer...drag racing = sell car for lawyers), Kaveh with 2 240's, a Talon TSi FWD, and looking for an S2K. Other kids there want classic Zs with V8 swaps, another kid has wanted a 240 since he was 10.....lots of good taste going around there

I found it to be very informative.
