School Sucks huge.....Burnt rice

I live in houston right now, and I go to high school or course, but there is one thing that is really annoying me right now and will always annoy me. Ready........the ricers. I know its a subject that has been touched on many many more times but I just feel that I need to say it now. Well, first off, I am 15, probably the youngest on this site, but Geeezus! The people who TRY to be in the scene is amazing. There some ricers at my school, wait not some, but all the ricers at my school think they got the best car around, and since I live in Houston, of course, you got the domestics, truckers, and lowriders thinkin they are the s***, for instance, there is this one CRX that has an Erebuni Shogun kit and an APR aluminum wing, he is always talkin mess sayin that he has the baddest car around and he can take on anybody, well for the most part I ignore him but sometimes I just gotta speak out. Also, there is this one Toyota Tercel that is Fire engine red and has a lame kit and of course, you guessed it, an Aluminum wing and of course, Pep boys galore on his ride since I know there is barely any aftermarket support, so all he has universal crap, well i went down to the strip one day and wow, to my surprise, he was there, now they marked on his Window his number, he ended up running 19s and after he lost, he said just wait till i get my 300 shot of NOS, I started chuckling and said good luck and he said whatever, then revved up and TRIED to speed away, on top of that, sometimes when I gotta take the goverment twinky, he ends up going to my stop , on purpose and then revving up at me, and good lord, his exhaust, no thatz not right, his tip is just annoying, oh, it has been three weeks since I was at the strip and he still has taken off the numbers off of his windshield, if only the people at school knew the story. Lastly, there is this one Prelude, with a wing and altezzas that is fugly, but the guy who drives it is fat, fruity, and thinks he is tight, but this one anger me the most. I know for a fact that he doesnt have the money for it, but he says, Next year, im getting a Skyline, I laughed my a$s off, so then i started asking him questions. Question #1, Well Jared, could you please enlighten me on what model Skyline you are going to get? Reply- What do you mean? There is only one model, and that is....The Skyline, I laugh. Question #2, Hey, heres an easy one, what is the engine code for the Nissan Skyline? Reply- Its an inline six!, haha, I laughed hard with that one, but any wayz, I eventually told him the answers to those questions in a low voice so as to not embarrass in front of his buddies, he didnt believe a single word, Like I said R34, R33, and R32, and RB26DETT, he was like Nah uh, your lying!, So at that moment, my brother came to pick me up and I just let him be and did not pick on him anymore, by the way, Im a Freshman and he is a senior, when I was walking away i barely heard him say, Stupid Freshman, doesnt know what he is talking about, but I let him and didnt say a word after that.

Well, thatz mainly the things that were on my mind lately besides the usual, hey Henry, which is my name, hey henry, dont you know that domestics are way better then imports, rice burners suck, so i usually ignore or occasionally fight back with the horse power per liter thing or the horsepower per cylinder thing, and then they shut up because they dont know what to say or they walk away and say domestics are better.,

Oh, sorry for not spacing which i just realized, I just wanted to share what was going on over here, so I know Ill get flamed by some idiot saying, your immature or something, sorry for the long post, and i have been into 240s since 97 when my uncle got a new 240 then, and i have been driving since i was ten so dont make fun of me, well g2g. Just sharing stuff.

I could imagine that.. There aren't really that many ricers at my school, but my school isn't necessarily large, and I don't live in that big of a city. There's about 900 ppl at my school, every rich guy at school has either a mustang or they have a big truck(which isn't so bad). The only ricers are the "soon to be ricers." They want to be, but can't afford it. However, there is one guy at my school, he is a Junior..was wanting to buy a severly damaged prelude and fix it up(the frame of the car was ****ed, the windows were all knocked out, no wheels, blown engine..the list goes on..It looked worse than the Supra from The Fast and the Furious) So anyways he is in my Broadcast Vid. Production class at the tech school with me, and I took him back to school after that class was over..AHHH..his catch phrase..if you can call it that...is "Honda Powerrr". He always says that..even a teacher sort of making fun of him said "honda powerr" in a gay voice as he was walking to the parking lot. I bug him a lot and say Nissan Power etc..(even tho I have a slower-than-a-Honda Pontiac)..Here's the best part..He said it today and I was like "Psh..Hondas suck"..and he said "What about the Skyline buddy!?"..in a tone that was like "what now..still think they suck"..Of course trying not to laugh I said "Nissan makes the Skyline prick"..and he said "same difference." :\ :/

And of course theres the Sophmores..One of them has one of the small 88 Civics..exhuast about to fall off..13 or 14" cheap rims..and to top it off..No..not a big wing...No..not some ricer'type stickers..but some stickers he got from the army recruiters office..Don't ask me why.

This has been a nice little rant eh..Just thought I'd share it with you.

Yeah dude, that's every city high school for you. I didn't have my S14 when I was in high school and I'm actually glad I didn't. (Because the ***** that parked next to me would always door my old car, then deny it.) All of this "rice" crap used to piss me off hardcore, but now i could give a rat's fender. I'll be sitting at a light and a civic with some moron kid in it will pull up next to me. He'll have it all, can muffler, dumb wing on the back and all of the little stupid neon lights. Of course he'll start revving at me because I drive an "import" and I'll just pull away at about 60% throttle and leave him behind me. I don't street race and I don't think that qualifies as racing. As for all of these clowns at your school with corollas and whatnot...get a 240 and tell them to take it to the track. They'll shut up after that.

Dude, BBturbo, you wanna see some straight up rice, you should go to my school, U of H, I think more than half of the cars in the parking lot have altezzas. Or go to westheimer on saturdays, more rice than you can shake a stick at. Fortunately there's a decent amount of nice cars to balance out the rice, but that's still a lotta rice man.

Thank goodness I finished school in '95. There are nothing but ricers, and red necks around here. Mustangs, Cameros, and Trucks. Then no engine, unpainted body kit, metal wing, hondas and acuras.

There are several domestics that will run, but hardly any built imports. If they are built, they dont take them out of the garage.

Mann, u guys cant top Cali man!! Its where it all started.....Dude, the rice at MY skool is fawking Immortal. Thers more den a dozen "suped-up" hondas at my skool. I gotta admit a couple of them are respectable but most of them r damn coffee can wearing rice burners.This one guy, drives a mazda 626(yes, a 626) pull up on me at a stop light one day bumping his "system" of only low thuds. Another guy in a black accord.....rolls up to me at a stop light on another day, ask me if im stick (LOL), den says he is, wen i can hear his linkage shift into neutral and revs. Ive got my friend in the car( a girl) so i say, im kool, but dude continues on for lik 2 blocks. Dude was beggin' for it. Good thing my friend "understands" so she says, "go for it alex." I burn him by lik 4 car lengths. (seriously 4banger accords r damn slow). Next day at skool, i find out i was smoked by him AND i was squeezing the juice......IDIOTS!!

Also, Id like 2 point out, I am also a TA for a underclassmen class, and unfortunately, the new rave is The Siliva!!!!!!:mad: "I want a silvia, I want a 240 wif a Silvia conversion" etc.I get asked, dont u drive a silvia? I say, "nope, a 240" n walk away.No way u can top the rice-dom of public high skools in californiaI challenge u too!!!

i can 180 guy. around here there is a township called deptford and teh theme is alluminum wings, unpainted bodykits, and running around wit no hubcaps on their cars. oh yeah did i mench that they are civics, neons, and so many f^cking FNF stickers around you think that they are doing a movie shoot! i wish my other south jersey dude can back me up ion this.

it's kind of tired to complain about ricers/domestic ricers, as long as there are stupid people out there who try so damn hard to impress---they will exist

on the other hand i take comfort in knowing my stuff, and hanging out with people who seriously tune their cars or participate in some kind of legal-motorsport. Me and my bunch of friends all autocross, from the lowly Sentra GXE, my car, my bf's Lude, Solara, and BMW 325i. We all have fun making fun of the rice boys who pass by the autocross taking place with their fart cans and chrome pep boy's dubs and ask about what we are doing. It's endless amusement---i've come to find that that's what ricers are for.

I used to get alot of **** from the ricers back in school, cause I drove a slow *** sunbird. Since I knew most of their GFs and they would tell me about so and sos fast car with the [ugly ***] bodykit and etc. etc. The funny **** is, I had a girl leave me for one!! Ya I know haha, she was slut so **** her, I have a more respectable, honest girl that I appreciate very much. But I swore to myself I would get all them ricers back for talkin **** to me and wanting me to race them with my sunbird. I got the 2-4-0 and went through my rice hitlist and dominated all of em. That girl wanted me back and was like haha you wish *****. Damn rice, they need to learn if you want to be fast, do motor work and race fast ppl, dont throw a body kit on a eclipse and go race a sunbird.

Hehe, I love ricers, they amuse me. Some samples from my experience:

Over winter break I drove by a parked Civic that was this really odd grey color. Not normal Civic grey. So I pointed it out to my friend and the best we could come up with: clearcost over primer. I doubt it actually was that but I could swear it looks like it.

Mazda MX-6 (old model). Auto with exhaust and a huge aluminum wing. The guy raced my friend's Prelude (which he idiodically put about $4k in after buying the salvage titled Prelude S and then kit, wing, I/E, etc) and my friend torched him (duh). It was kinda sad cause the kid looked like he really needed an ego boost.

Anyway, most of my friends and I have determined that it is much easier to buy a nice car and stick with it stock until we can afford REAL upgrades (not cheap alum wings or anything). In fact, one of my friends got a '94 Mitsu 3000GT VR-4 just recently. He has only lost to 2 cars since: Miata with RX-7 engine swap and an NSX.

Damn, I want my 240sx. :help

Lately I've been seeing more and more riced out 240's. I *really* hate seeing this, but it does almost seem that 240's are the new civics.....every ricer wants one and after adding an intake, they're the fastest **** around. :~( When I was in school I remember all the Freshmen wanted to race me in mommy's....i'm sorry.....their cars. I always told them I'd win because a real driver's license (not a permit) added all kinds of horsepower. Seems like this crop of kids is uniting under the banner of the giant almuminum wing :-(

My only problem with 'ricers' is that people think that they are cool. Some kid has a riced Civic HB (altezza knockoffs, walmart hubcaps, pep boys crap, 3 'type r' badges, big *** 'Civic' sticker on the windshield, big wing on a HATCH BACK, and stickers of stuff he doesn't own) and everyone thinks he is the god of racing. People are always checking out his car and asking him questions about car stuff (which he couldn't answer to save his life0 and most of all, the chicks dig his car. I have a 240 which is stock and I KNOW I can burn his car anyday, yet everyone thinks he is the ****. The onlything worse than ricers is people who think its cool

Then there are the friends of mine that are building cars, but don't drive. There's quite a few of those.

Pretty much, people either don't care, know what their talking about, or know they can't step up so they don't try.

man isn't that the truth...all I see is rice in the UofH parking lots...Once in a while I would see a cool 240 or some other sweet car. There was also this RX7 that was pretty badass. It looks like it was put together at a junkyard (mismatched body panels etc.) but he has an exhaust and a FMIC and some gauges, so I assume he knows what he's doing if it hasn't blown up yet.
