Anyone got his cell#? I'll send him a text or 2. My number is untraceable (AFAIK). Besides, I don't think he would come to Germany to get me haha.

wow, holy CSI Batman... this is awesome haha

anyone who works at a cell carrier should try and do a reverse lookup on his number and possibly use whatever account management system they use. I work for a Canadian carrier so I cant be of a help.

Is this guys name Andre, or Andres? I'm getting two completely different fields of results depending on the search.

If it's Andres, I found a guy living in La Mesa, CA, but not at the address Greg listed. I also have a home number

This address seems to be an apt complex. I also have names/addy's/and numbers of neighbors too, for whatever good that might do.

Mods, please feel free to remove this information if needed. I just figured it'd be alright since Greg already posted some up earlier.

**** that man, **** THAT! Now you really gotta make this doushbag pay. Call those local cops and DEMAND they do something. If that doesn't work, call the local TV stations, and tell them not only about how he scammed you, but about the lazy ****tard cops aren't doing a damn thing.

Cops won't do shiet. Look at the Alec's thread - nothing has been done by authorities. It's eaither you take it into your own hands, or try and waste lots m,ore money/time trying to get back the money. I say caravan to SD.

I've been reading this thread and the Alec thread, and I definitely do not condone/support criminal-minded behavior/actions. You guys have given these guys more than ample opportunity to "make good" on money they have taken from members of our community, BUT...

Here's some old man advice to impart to the group...

I just want you guys to know that conveying threats via the internet and caravaning to wherever these guys are located and taking matters into your own hands, paying someone to do something to them CAN land you into equally hot water. If these guys decide to use the law, efforts to get these two and others like them can backfire on the community.

AZHitman, I am sure you are aware of this, and I hope that you are covering yourself because if something does happen to the perpetrators, and if they have reasonable cause to believe the threat/planning/carrying out of an action that results in bodily harm or reason to believe that life and property are at risk, all these threads can be used in their defense.

In summary, someone start a class action lawsuit (yes, this has all been mentioned; nothing new here), quit conveying what you are gonna do and how you are gonna do it on the internet and use legal methods (it takes a real man/woman to keep emotions in check and do the right thing; vengeance via violence is not condoned in most countries in the free world). Yes, I hear that law enforcement seems disinterested, and the only way they are going to get involved is if the group provides solid proof via class action lawsuit and get the legal process rolling, and if criminal intent can be reasonably proven, things start to heat up.

Please, be smart. Even if this whole affair stinks like ****, the fact that the US judicial system's maxim "innocent until proven guilty" is what helps make the USA a great country.

Nothing is impossible. Because you live in another country does not exclude you or anybody that is not a US citizen from seeking justice. Are you located near a US consulate/embassy? You can lodge a complaint there as long as you have the proof of the transaction. The US consulate/embassy does not look kindly on US citizens who create "tension" between the US and other countries. It makes for bad PR. Mail order fraud committed via the US Postal Service and/or the internet is a crime. Nothing new here, but if you and others who have bonafide proof (e-mail trails, phone contact, forum replies, mailed correspondence, proof of bank transaction, and the list goes on) of a business transaction with the said named perpetrator(s) where you and others did not receive the item(s), the "mark" is big enough to devote resources, and you can get some relief. When? It all depends on how earnest you/group are in pursuit of the matter, and it all starts with a lawsuit. I am sure that NICO has someone who is a member, as well as a lawyer whose area of practice covers internet/mail order fraud. Has anybody asked this?

I really hope this matter gets resolved, but as long as this thread keeps on going and threats are made, the only ones who will benefit from all of this are the ones who took your money in the first place. All they have to do is get someone to beat them up, go to the cops and report the beatdown as a crime committed by members from NICO. A lawyer would see this as an opportunity to make some bank at the expense of NICO, so... as much as I know how ****** up this situation is, we need to curtail the threats and vigilante posse because it will only aid the real crooks if they decide to make a move and ruin everbody's day with a staged beatdown.

THATS IT! Matt, go down to east ja bum**** whereever he is, beat the everliving **** out of yourself, and go to the cops and tell them that he scammed you, and when you confronted him he beat you up. Aparantly no laws exist in the USA except for ones dealing with bodily harm!

Actually I think that embassy thing is a pretty good idea. You should do it mat. Also contact the local news stations, alot of news programs have segments about people who called in about how someone ****ed them and as soon as the news station shows up with the camera asking questions, the person who got the shaft magically gets their money or whatever from the d!ck that tried to screw them over. So try that route.

and Greg, I know I have a little while til I get back to Phoenix, but I would like to apply for the position of Enforcer for Nico, I think we know that I meet the requirements of the position

News wont do sh1t for some 600 dollar scam. Do you know how many scams happen daily for even bigger money? Lol, hire a guy with a baseball bat an call it a day. Seriously, the US is such a bullcrap based country. If someone scams you, and no one gives a f***, you take it to your own hands, handle it, and then you would be sued for s***?? Gimme a break. Do it the right way -

look mat, I seem to be the only one who lives close to this walking piece of sh** so imma try to do something about it. I live in SB, thats about 2 1/2H from costa mesa if there is no traffic and I drive at the posted speed limit....since there is always traffic of some sort through LA and I've never managed to stay at the posted speed limit for more then 30secs at a time I think I'll probably get there in about....1.5H or better. I'll try to go within 2 weeks of today

I'm not after doing anything to the guy (I don't want to get in trouble nor to get nico forumz in trouble) I just want to know if he still lives there and or if he knows or cares that you want your money back....and that there are a few hundred people on nico who want to put him through a meat grinder nuts first :P

I agree with the suggestion a lil while ago to go to the US embassy in...whatever place in canada you live in. Embassys have almost unlimited power when it comes to working within their own country....seriously, its scary. so if you land on someone who actually decides to help you then he could make lif very dificult for our lil friend.on the other hand....no one will bother with you for 5 secs if you don't have good convincing proof that this indeed happened. so make sure you put everything you have together on your side INCLUDING the conversion you had with andres on nico and any other forumz/sites, the emails, the receipt you got from him...if any, and anything else wether you think it is relevent or not.

I really hope something works out for you man. don't let go of this yet tho, there is still some chance of you doing something and if you do nothing andre will just get someone else some other time.

peace

CJ

Yeah, that's a good idea. Mat, it would also help your case if you can show this thread on NICO to the person at the consulate/embassy. Something that would be of further help would be a NICO point of contact who can provide some sort of proof of how many people have been scammed and the dollar amount. This seems like a lot of work again, but if you can go to the embassy/consulate with this baby all set to go, you should have some smooth sailing with them. A call from the US Embassy/Consulate to Costa Mesa PD will carry a buttload more weight, and believe me, someone will start making inquiries. Good luck, bro!
