hey matt, I went to his appartment and knocked on his door a few times.....and then a few hundred times more when he didn' answer......never got him. I left to get food, came back....still not there. there was a red 240sx sileighty on the street sitting next to a supped up honda prelude with a....FC? 240sx? front end.....really werd lookin....nywayz are either of those his? do you kno? sorry bro....I tried... I hope something works out. if there is more I can go down there again once my 240sx is back online (I bent a rod )

he still has a "disconnected" phone number and his cell has no service (going on 3 weeks now)

and he still wont answer emails

edit: i just called the la mesa police departmentits setup so that u have to leave your name and number and they call you back.

il let everyone know what detective mike gleason says if he calls back

edit: i just filed a complaint with the internet crime complain center and with ebay authorities.

la mesa police called back, they said we definately have a case of fraud on are hands and it will be investigated

they gve me another number to call (crime prevention)

I was just thinking. If you get a picture of the car and the plates and a picture of him, as well, somebody could make a billboard warning people to stay away from him due to his tendency to thieve. List the known amount of money stolen from scams. Nothing illegal about it at all. Hell, they do it to deadbeat parents and to sex offenders. Why not scam artists? If he decides to protest, tell him to take it to court or pay up. Either way, he loses. I'd pitch in to fund this.

The police have a program where they enter a tag number, and it shows who the vehicle is registered to. The DMV keeps records of the owners address, phone, and other valuable info.

If you know the right people, you can find out where they live, work, what they drive, previous felonies, and any other interesting tidbits.

I say stay on the police's *** until something is resolved. That is what they are payed for, or that's what I was once told.
