yeah he still has it.i think you saw me in it a few weeks ago. i waved. recognized you from PG. the thing for me is i dont really have your standard transmission. my rb transmission is close ratio so at 60mph im in 5th at like 4 grand. i just got back from fusion and it really is depressing. i left my permanent marker there cause i dont think im gonnda drive all that way at 55 again.

5th gear and 4k rpms at 60? Holy crap lmao. I think I can do 60 in 3rd gear at less rpms. lol

I don't have traction under 40mph so I kind of can't do that type of racing.

Unless I'm in the FD or S13. Not that I've done that or anything.

The Walmart in Santee?

I'm game.

Got some wiring fixed on the FD and was hoping to be driving it today but now it won't start. Going to try and get it running and drive it to the meets that are local since the C5 isn't fitting for an import meet.

You guys will have to wait a month or so for mine unfortunately. But maybe I can get the FD running enough to bring it over for one or two meets.

239 Town Center Pkwy Santee, CA

Basically just take Mission Gorge Rd East and take a left on Town Center Pkwy, then take another left before the next light and that'll take you to Denny's. It's kind of between Walmart and a bunch of small shops.

So far, you, me, and driftin. We might have to start out small with just a couple people, and work our way up as the meets become more regular. I'll have the C5 tomorrow. I'll try and bring the FD next time. My goal is to bring the S13 either the end of June, or first part of July...

Wooly sounded interested in doing a San Diego meet, but this one is probably too short notice for him(plus there was 2 other Nico members who I believe were interested).

Baby steps guys, baby steps. I will be there tomorrow.

Yes! Keep the Santee 240sx scene alive!

I live 2 minutes from that Walmart. I would come stop by tomorrow night and BS with you guys, except I will be at work all night on tuesday.

Oh well, my 240 is practically stock and gutless anyways.

Almost all 240 owners on Nico started out stock and gutless. Just takes time, money, and loads of patience.

some guy with a Camaro Z28 at a gas station tellin me and my homie about all his mods, it was a freakin christmas list of parts, then he asks what my friend has in the Honda and he says "oh just a swap and a turbo" (truth) Camaro guy says "well the thing is, ive never lost to a Honda before" my friend replies "really? thats crazy! Ive never lost to a V8 before!"

I had to hold back the laughter We run 3 separate times on the 5 freeway.... Honda smashed on him every time! We gave him a huge head start on the last race and still made him look ridiculous

not that great of a story, i know, but it was hilarious how the guy set himself up saying "ive never lost to a Honda before" and then 15 minutes later he had embarrased himself

Your friend isn't a Marine with a red EK9 is he? I raced an LS swap with a Turbo running 15psi a little over a month ago.

Hey guys I am opening a Mexican taco shop in less than two weeks in Mission Valley. It is currently run-down and not the greatest, but I am focusing on cleaning the place up and making delicious food with the freshest ingredients. Any advice? Should I make it more suited for gringos (simple menu like La Salsa) or keep in Mexican (all that adobado and machaca stuff, combinaciones) What would you guys like to see in a mexican food place? What mexican food places do you guys like around San Diego?

Well I'm not interested in racing from a dig. My car makes no traction under 40mph unless I drive like a grandma. As one of the guys who showed up at today's meet can vouch for, I can get quite a bit sideways in 2nd gear when I hit boost.

However if he wants to run me from a roll or freeway or something sometime, sure I'm cool with it. Just so long as he's not out to try and embarrass a corvette or something. I'm not real big on people like that, as I'd rather see how the cars run, than see who's wallet made the fastest car for their egos. So if he's a car person, then it's all good. If he's a V8 hater, then I'm not.

we should prolly have a lil meet up when you open, but kep that **** mexicalicious dont get too gringoey, make regular guacamole then make american guacamole (gucamole with sourcream like a 60-40 mix) nd dont worry about the white ppl theyll learn to order in spanish if theyl have to, but make it authentic ppl remember those kinda restaruants.

hahah don't worry we got respect for the V8's, esp. Chevy. I am a seasoned autocrosser so I know whats up with the vettes. Its just that he needs some better cars to race. All the modified cars he seems to find on the freeway are either not worthy or not even willing to race.

If i tell him that i got a blown vette lined up to race, im sure he would question his chances but he'd be down to race anyways just for fun! We all know that the Honda Civic isn't gods gift to cars but when done right, it's a hell of a time smashing on cars that shouldnt lose to 4 cyls
