Meh don't make it political bro. California charges 60 cents a gallon in fuel taxes alone. Not to mention our refineries are at full capacity(we need more refineries but ***** *** environmentalists won't let us build new ones).

The blame goes to all the politicians in charge, local, state, and federal.

What mileage does your QX get? My old man's 2000 Chevy Tahoe gets 18-20, and my 96 Z71 gets 17.

Hell my C5s' get the same mileage as my S14 with the KA did. If you want gas mileage, get a civic or a motorcycle.

I'd be game. It's close enough so that even if only a handful of cars showed up, it'd be worth it.

You haven't seen me in the S13 unless it was a year or more ago. I did smoke an SVO Mustang last year, leaving East County Alignment one day on my lunch break, on Magnolia heading south towards Prospect the last time I drove it though.

I usually am on Mission Gorge heading towards Lakeside in the black C5 around 5pm(sometimes a few minutes earlier, sometimes a little bit later). If I see your S13 I'll throw up a wave and a honk.

The metro is NOT mine. Belongs to my old man for around town crap(I hate that car). This picture was taken I think back in Oct/Nov. A buddy of mine back east is buying the FD once his GTO sells, just don't know when that is. Currently the FD is near Panda Garage getting worked on, but the S13 sits at my folk's place until I get some $ saved up for engine/suspension/brake work. I currently still have all 3.

one of the belts snapped and bit into the wiring going into the OMP and the car's been in limp mode ever since. I was driving it for awhile last summer(had an RX-8 give me a rev as I was turning through an intersection where he was at). It hasn't been on the road for a year like the S13(this new C5 REALLY put a cramp in my finances that I'm only now recovering from). It's possible though as I was driving it around Lakeside/Santee at the time. Soon as I get it out of the shop, you'll probably see me in it for a few weeks until it leaves. Unless my buddy backs out. In which case, I'll be keeping it.

The goal is by June. Putting A/C and P/S back in, coilovers, putting 300zx brakes on(but re-drilled to 4 lug), new windshield, new stereo, kill switch, new carpet, new console piece, powder-coating all the piping and painting the Intercooler black, looking for a front lip and OEM sideskirts, maybe CF hood(the stock Silvia hood is HEAVY), new BOV, the list goes on.

I currently have a floormat on the driver's side, as the carpet is worn down to the chassis. The console is in pretty rough condition, the Dash now has 2 cracks in it... The BOV is too loud, and the IC is just too noticeable for cops. The Tokiko shocks while they ride nice, aren't great for handling, and their springs make the car look like a 4x4(I use to run Zeal coilovers but they are horrible for street use though the drop was just right as u can see in the dropped pics). No P/S gets old, the JVC headunit that's in there is crap(Got an Alpine to replace it), the OEM brakes are not up to par for 240+ hp....

I'm very picky about what I do to my cars, it's just the $ thing that keeps things from happening.

The old coilovers are long gone my friend. I sold them to buy the Tokiko shocks/springs and a 99' Spec FD wing. Doubt I'll get much for these shocks/springs. Only reason I can afford this madness, is I've spent most of the past 5 years out of the dating scene. So instead of blowing my wad on girls, I've been blowing it on cars.

Okay I think I'm tripping balls. Maybe some of you Santee guys can fill me in. Why would 2 R32's (look like GT-R's) be in Santee, in all honesty Santee kind of sucks.

I saw an orange one on Fanita, the street next to Santee lakes. And just this saturday morning I saw a grey one on the corner of Lake Canyon and Settle.

Oh I also saw a white evo X in some random parking lot in east San Diego.

Just cant get enough people to pipe in. At the rate of interest, we're looking at like 5-7 of us I think.

Would like to get something going on down here though other than Fuzion.

When did I say we meet at fuzion? I just said I didn't want us to meet at Fuzion. It's 90% Hondas and Subies everytime I've gone with one of my 240sx's or C5. Not to mention I don't like the fact that some people have gotten the attention of the authorities there and want as little attention as possible from cops with any of my cars(none of them are smog legal).

ok heres kinda the bottom line. the parking lot by the jack in da crack is not gone because of the 52 construction. another option is right across the street by the lowes. its a much bigger lot and because there are allways cars there it wont look weird if there are a bunch parked together.

there is also the dennys in santee. the parking lot behind it is pretty big and its 24hours. we can be there as long as we want and nobody can do a thing. plus its behind dennys so the cops dont go there either.

The Denny's right by Walmart right? Yeah it's a good spot depending on the time of day.

Wonder if we'll ever get anything going out here in SD. Los Angeles has all the fun.
