gonna need to treat it like shag carpet of yesteryear-bare feet, rake it once a month or so to kick out the small animals living in it, and prepare for the jealous folks. looks pretty cool. not my style, but good execution.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I figured it'd be pretty cool cuz I haven't seen anything like it before in a 240.

Theres only two other times Ive seen anything like it in modern day...

Yokota's 180:

and twinkie's purple dash in Tokyo Drift.

I think mine's better on both accounts.

dash is hawt. I actually did my centerconsule and glovebox in purple fuzzz...Wasnt sure about doing the headliner or dash though.

Im actually pretty sure im gonna take it out though cause it doesnt match the car any more.

BTW your door panels, center consule, glove box, and ebrake boot look like total ***.... the **** boot is ok though.

The dash - original as hell. I think Huggy Bear had a Caddilac like that in the Starsky & Hutch series when I was a kid... Like others said, well executed - props for doing what you like, but not my style. The shift boot and e-brake handle are also very well done, but you have too many wrinkles and puckers in the armrest. Try cutting out some of the fabric that's tucked underneath and pulling it tighter.

Overall, between creativity and execution, I'd give it a strong 8 out of 10.

I think the answer to that question is NO. WTF does it mean or refer to? It's not a Spanish word...

First off, sorry for not having any pics.

Didn't want to start a whole new topic to just ask a couple of questions.

To those of you who used spray paint cans for your interior, did you just use any regular can of paint? Something specific?

Might be a stupid question to some, but I've never bought anything relating with paint before...

Thanks.

Edit...Never mind what I said. I looked around at a local place and found something for fabrics.

It's going to be fun pulling that dash off, though...

i know what locura controlada is, is just weird to see it, so you know what torreonero means?

and you need to use vynil spray paint for vynil, if you were talking about paintein the floor or so, youll have to use some hardcore outside/multiweather paint, permatex, the guys that do stuff like bed lining and underbody paint and protection sell some good stuff in a few colors

I got it when I was overseas in HK and Japan. I searched all over before that as well, its easy to find 6inch or smaller, but these 8 1/2" babies are impossible, without paying 80 bucks on ebay.

Figured I better post up my latest addition, although most of you have seen it my thread.

Custom made Defi gauge cluster, center vent gauges and Defi HUD molded into top of steering wheel shroud. If you want more info on it or pics look up the thread I created on it.

Wow... very very nice gauge cluster.

And yeah it's hard to find those shift knobs. I only one other person that has that. I should probably buy some when I go back to HK. Do they have a lot there?

Has anyone ever tried putting a touchscreen (or just screen) in the dual deck space on the S13? When I get my 240 I'm thinking about putting a nav/radio/touchscreen there.

If nobody has, I wouldn't imagine it being hard... There is a lot of open space also if you remove the headunit. Then put an incar computer in the glove box area...

In my van I have a sort of similar setup my brother ghetto rigged. He bought some LCD screen that displayed 4 lines, took apart a keyboard for the internals and wired it to three buttons, got a special power supply that would survive starting the car and wired it to bypass the deck. The computer is hidden underneath the passenger seat and runs music off a little USB or SD card. It's sort of interesting, I just wanted to do something a little more clean.

I've seen lots of LCD's on S14's, but not really many at all on S13's. Just the ones that fold out.
