That will work fine. the speedo that comes with that will come in kmh. You can easily convert that to 180, mph.

FINALLLYY FIXEDD!! , step 1 : found the yellow/red stripe wire on the back of the cluster step 2 : found the yellow/red stripe wire on the ECU step 3 : spliced the outer plastic on the wire and just attached the other wire i didnt cut it, cuz it didnt seem like i need to since its all working now but i didnt wanna cut it and something else wouldnt work so i did that and the rpm gauge works perfectly and after i finished red lineing the car sounds goood ! . thanks for the help guys ! also i the gas meter suppose to stay on were ur gas is when the cars off? or cuz mine just stays up on half tank well thats were i filled it and seems to be at and goes down while driveing x) so yea

This was what lebgangstah did to fix his. Although what I would do is just cut the wire because the tach signal wrire only goes from ecu to cluster anyways. If this doesn't work for you then we can go about what I pm'd you about.

-Yellow red wire on back on cluster (rmp wire) - FOUND
-Yellow red wire on the ecu?? Im having trouble with that. I need a pic of where that is (ecu) forgive my stupidity.

Okay Listen ...
step 1: u located the yellow wire/red stripe make sure thats the right one cuz thers a red wire with yellow stripe.
step 2: this is what i did i cut the zip tie holding the ecu wire now , idk about ur swap if u can get me a pic of the ecu and the connector ill prob spot it out but what i did was , take it out so unscrew the bolt and the wire was at the bottom of the wireing harness , so the bottom of the big blue pin , once u spot it , then u should be on track but to make sure take pics post them and ill tell u if i see it , so u dont accedntly cut anywires and something goes wrong.

I hate to bring up such an old thread but I'm kinda having the same problem. Even after trying the methods above and in the last pages.
I did the CA18det to SR swap in my 13. Everythings good except for the cluster. I can get backlighting, door open, battery an low fuel lights. However I can't get fuel gauge, speedo, RPM, or temp to work. I have 3 clusters to test for each thing I do. CA digital, CA and a KA. From what I read though KA will work for the SR. At least for RPM that is.

Things I have tried so far and found out.
---------------------------------------------------
All fuses all good.
green from ecu to green wire on white connector=nothing
Not getting 12v from green wire with ignition.
made a jumper from my 12v radio to green on ecu=got 12v no indication still
jumper from yellow/red for RPM, nothing still.
with each test I was doing I was getting 12v to some wires to the back of the cluster where it plugs in.

I'm getting power to the wires going into the cluster but not getting any indication into anything.
Any other tests I can do?
