Since you are coming from the same place I am with a donor car, can you specify what all parts of the wiring harness is need from the Q45? I was reading something about under the dash in another thread and still didn't get the answer I was looking for. And FYI, I am aware that the ECU is under the dash, pretty sure it's on the passenger side kick panel, just not sure if more wiring other than those going to that is what was being talked about.
You would need all the wires that come out of the ecu. There will be a few more wires and plugs separate from the engine loom and thats all. You don't need anything pass those plugs.

I found the xcessive mount kit to be cheaper and since im on a budget I chose it. I do like the design of it. Also no holes have to be cut in order for the shifter to fit. The wiring I just use the ECU harness and harness on the engine. You just have to rewire a couple wires for it to work with the chassis properly. But to let everyone know I have probably spent somewhere near 3500 total including the 700 dollar clutch and flywheel kit to get to the point that I am now in the swap.

I just got the xcessive kit and im stuck on the wiring i dont really wanna spend $240 for mazworx to rewire it if i could do it myself. Does anyone have a diagrahm or somewhat detailed explanation of whats goin on with the harness? I desperately need help with that and what wires if any need to be connected to my z32 gearbox?

Haha Well ill try to get a camera this week to post some up but cant really at the moment. Ill see if I can make a description on what I did with the wiring but mine is not fully complete since I knew the Speedo and tach were not going to work properly. Ill post up a hose you might want to use for the lower coolant line I just went in autozone and cut a hose to make it fit if I remember right the hose I used from like a 90's dodge ram 1500. The wires going to the transmission should just be like your reverse lights and hmmm im kind of tired now so cant really remember ill be relocating somethings this week so Ill put in detail. Thanks

Hahaha, no way. I emailed them 3 times with questions, they blatantly ignored the wiring questions, and half way answered everything else. It's ok though, they're not going to be the ones who get my couple g's of $$$ now. You would think if people wanted to spend a lot of money on their parts, they would take the time to answer questions, but they don't

I don't need the answers anymore, I figured it out myself with wiring diagrams. All I wanted to know was what parts of the KA harness they needed that I would have to send in the whole harness versus just the connectors. I also asked them if it mattered if my KA harness had all the emissions removed and iacv stuff(not using them) and they didn't know

I'm doing it myself. All the figuring out what goes where part is just about done, waiting to get some more stuff finished before I solder everything up.

Sorry for the long wait. I have just been busy and dont really have the time to bust the camera out and put pictures up you can see how ghetto the exhaust manifold are haha. Also I need to replace the rear bumper and lower the exhaust so it stops melting it. Now time for a lucky girl to keep it while i'm gone. Also for the people who own Q's im sure you noticed the rear rims haha. That might show how my budget is like. Its fun because it is a sleeper.

Yeah definitely I will I just got them done like that because I needed the car done so when I come back from boot I will buy some. I just plan on getting a truely well made exhaust at that time because this one is ghetto looking as hell.

Alright would they fit the excessive mounts though? I would probably be buying them next year if I did.
