And since they buy wholesale in bulk, they often pass the savings on to you.Just call them or go up there and ask. i don't know why ppl are so scared to actually talk to somebody nowadays...

If you copy Skilz's setup above, you can run more rubber. But I don't know why you'd want to if you're still N/A.
Not really afraid to ask at all, just didn't see the point since it wasn't on their website.

How concave would the 17x9.5 +12's be? That first link that had some 17s in it looked almost flat to the the p45r's...

All P45R's are very concave. It's the P45F's that are flat faced.

Cool. Where'd you find them what was the price?

And what tire size are you gonna run? I'd run 245/40 at most. But if you're confining yourself to 245's, hell, you could have easily fit those on the lower offset wheels.

There is a place in Durham NC (UrbanImport)that should have most Rota sizes/offsets. Its where I got my P45R 17x9 +12, 235/45/17 all around. The 4 lugs may be on backorder or something these days, haven't checked in a while.

great price...I guess, lol

I'll prolly just run these all the way around with a 245/40 tire...I wanna be able to rotate since this is going on a DD thats gonna change into a project after I get moved into my house.

Yeah I've known about Urban Import for years...known Michael since he was selling parts out of his mom and dad's place and he's done great. He messaged me back about this the other day and I've just forgotten to get back up with him. I'll have to see what kinda price he can get...

Here is a neat Excel program I found somewhere on the Internet a long time ago.I hosted it for everyone to download and use.

http://dkoh.freehostia.com/Tyr...h.xls

Punch in your current wheel+tire setup, and your desired setup, and you can see the difference in wheel position and width and etc...

This is ridiculous Europe gets all the cool sizes and offsets and we're left with squat. Seems no one in the US wants larger offset wheels. Wheeldude said they would order a custom offset but it would take at least 4 sets to get the order rolling.

Ignore the crap fitment on the rear, thats a 18x9.5 et30 with 25mm spacer

Excuse the fitment, and the height of the car, I was going through a stretched tyre phase

We frikken wish... Rarerims is the UK distributor for Rota. They're getting sizes that we aren't getting... yet. Those are 18x10+15.

So is it just a matter of time until they are available in the U.S.? or is it not a sure thing? I plan on buying some wheels pretty soon, but I'd be willing to wait if it means I can get my hands on some of those

I'm thinking that the best way to get the 18x10+15 Grids and P45's here stateside would be to contact the North American distributor and set up a GroupBuy. Of course, you could always contact http://www.Wheeldude.com and ask them to do it as well

If you choose to arrange a Groupbuy and host it on NICO, remember to get the Admins permission first. Between the 240 board, the Z32/Z33/Z34 and GTR boards, it shouldn't be too hard to find enough buyers. I think Rota only needs like... 5 orders to make it worthwhile to them, but don't quote me on that...

Just make sure to have them made in the Hyper Black finish...

I ordered through Mach III. I got all four for $800 shipped. This is the same price that discount tire quoted me.

Just a reminder: The stock lug nuts won't work with these wheels. Don't forget to order some new ones.

A friend linked me to this post so I thought I would share some info on the 18" Grid's in the US. I'll try to leave as much "sale" info out of the post as I'm not a registered vendor on this forum.

A group of guys from the Ziptied forums (drifting forum with a lot of 240sx members) contacted me to setup a group buy for Rota Grid's in 18x10 5x114.3 +15 Flat Black. We started this group buy last year and our first batch sold out fairly quick. There are actually a lot of 240SX guys running 18x10 5x114.3 +15 Grid's here in the US. We also have a lot of guys running 18x9.5 5x114.3 +20 non staggered setups as we stock the Grid's in 9+ colors for this fitment.

We did just start stocking the 18x10 5x114.3 +15 fitment in Flat Black (in stock) and we also have Hyper Black coming in to the US within the next month. The 18" 5x114.3 Grid's are an exclusive model to WheelDude.com so we are the only vendor you can order this model through here in the US. We do our best to stock a lot of the fitments and if there is continued interest we can special order other colors in 18x10 +15 fitment.

Hope that helps shed some light on this model here in the US. If anyone has any questions feel free to call me in the shop M-F 10am-5pm PST

Oh... that explains it then. I was able to do some light searching there, but not much. Only references to the thread, but not the thread itself. Can ppl call/ email you and reference the groupbuy for a discount?

Sidenote: Since Wheeldude is the exclusive vendor for 18' Grids, I need to know how I can get two 18x9.5+15's for 4x114.3 in Hyper Black. I don't see that finish being offered online...

Here's a little teaser pic or two of the 17x9.5 +12 Grids. The tires are a 245/40 for those who are interested. Rolled and pulled fender. Going a bit lower when the weather clears up....

We initially required a group of 4-5 people to start the special order for the Grid's in 18x10 5x114.3 +15 fitment. We did see there was interest in this fitment and we are now stocking Grid's in 18x10 5x114.3 +15 fitment. We have yet to add these to the site however they are readily available, no need to reference a forum and or group buy We also sell pairs in 18x10 5x114.3 +15 fitment.

Grid's in 18x9.5 4x114.3 are being imported by Rota USA. Hyper Black is currently out of stock but should be available soon..

Thanks alot! That's precisely what I wanted to know.

Now I have to decide all over again if I wanna stick with my four lugs and run 17x9+12 & 18x9.5+15 or convert to five lug so I can run 17x9.5+12 & 18x10+15...

Is half an inch wider all around really worth the trouble? Hmmm... Decisions decisions decisions... (rhetorical question)
