From where? Depends on the source. The P45R's aren't hard to find or very expensive, IMO.

But i think it would be helpful if Wheeldude applied to be a NICO vendor and offered some discounts. I have no idea why they aren't on here already. Between the 240's and the Z's... you'd think we'd be a huge market for them.

To be honest... I very happy with the prices I've seen quoted from ppl who got their Rota's directly for Rota or Discount Tire. We're talking about $710-$750 generally. I'm very much ok with those prices, but if you can put together something for cheaper, great! Just be sure to get the admin's permission before starting a groupbuy on NICO.

I'm targeting 17x9+12 & 18x9.5+15 4 lug P45R's at this point. Grids are more than expensive than P45R's... I guess since they're newer...

I'm targeting 17x9+12 & 18x9.5+15 4 lug P45R's at this point. Grids are more than I want to pay for currently, unless Wheeldude has some huge sale.

Lolwut? 4x114.3 18x9.5+15 all around.

This are not custom. Most vendors I've searched seem to have them regularly stocked... Did something change?

Bushido had to wait 6 months to get his custom order 17x9.5+15's... the 18's are fairly common, I thought...http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.asp?wheelid=31

5th from the bottom is 4x114.3 18x9.5+15...

Plus, one of my local vendors was nice enough to provide this:http://www.rotawheel.com/AVAILABILITY.htm

It's a list of everything that Rota currently has in stock. Apparently, this list is updated weekly. From this list, there should curently be:

Six 18x9.5+15 for 4x114.3 in Flat Black with Red Line (Time Attack finish)Eight 18x9.5+15 for 4x114.3 in Full Royal Sports Bronze

I could order them and pick them up locally within a week if I wanted to. But I'm waiting for Hyper Black to become available.

You should be able to order these from Discount Tire... have you tried going up there and talking to them yet?

EDIT: Now that I look at that list again... there are also 12 4x114.3 18x9.5+15 Grid's in Royal Bronze available! Exclusive, huh?

I dunno what to tell you. They are hard to find online, like you said, but I know they are available if you talk to sellers. Often times, these site don't update their listings...

I ask because some on this forum had a set of rota boost (not to sure) and the wheels bent out to where they stick out and all they did was just took it out on the track for a little time attack and I just wanted to know if they are drift safe or touge safe.

I swear to god... kids these days will believe everything they see on the internet...

Sloweighty, except for the fact that Rota's wheels are mostly replicas of other more prestigious designs, there ain't a goddamn thing wrong with these wheels.

Take it or leave it. That's all I'm gonna say on the subject cuz I'm tired of repeating myself.

Ok did a little research, for those of you guys who are like me and struggling to find a place to order wheels at you can call (650)-290-4501 and order your wheels straight from Rota.

He quoted me 800-900 for the 18x9.5 +15 and shipping is around 40 bucks. Hope this helps.

i am not saying i believe everything ok....its just that i know some rota wheels suck and some are good and i was just asking before i spend a s*** load of money into some wheels that will only last for a day. I just wanted to know if the rota torques would be ok for drift or touge.

can you see the differencenow look at the two wheels, do you see the difference

i am not saying all of them are bad i was just asking if anyone ever had this problem with the rota torque because i just want to be safe when i drive with these wheels. Also i do have a set of rota slipstreams on my NX2000 so i know those are safe but i am not sure on the others thats all.

For some reason, I thought you had already tried ordering direct. Of course do that if you're have trouble finding a good outlet! lol

What color are you ordering? I said earlier that I really wanted Hyper Blacks, but if that doesn't happen, I found this thread: zer...53769

What do you think? Is it pretty close to Hyper Black?

Versus

Matching that finish is gonna be hard, I think...

I'm sure that somewhere eariler in this thread, someone asked a similar question and I referenced a Subaru forum's thread where a Rota user had some problems like this. Find it. (EDIT: It's on the second page, pretty close to the top.)

Bottom line: The wheels are good, but in the odd even that something crazy happens, Rota has great customer service to help you out. Also, I'm not sure if I posted this in this thread, but here is info on Rota's quality assurance process from an Evo forum: http://forums.evolutionm.net/e....html

No never tired ordering direct, i was hoping to find a dealer with awesome prices, but eh. Im going to go with the sports bronze or bronze. Havent decided yet.

If i were you i would go with the hyper black. Im not too much of a fan of color that NSR did. It looks awesome but not my style.

As said earlier all wheels break, expensive ones, cheap ones, free ones, at some point in time they will fail.

Rota just gets a crap wrap, b/c of the elitist attitude of some people who beleive every one should be shelling out 2000+ just on wheels. Dont get me wrong i Love Work wheels and companies like that but f*** man im driving on these things not looking at them in a display case.

Well, at least you got the wheels that you were looking for and that no one else was listing...

I guess I will wait for the Hyper Blacks. I have no idea why the Bronze and Time Attack finishes seem to be more popular and are always in stock...

You still looking to get the P45 in the front and grid in the rear or have you changed your mind?

Yeah, I still wanna do that, but it just depends on the price of the 18x9.5+15 Grids when I ready to buy. Honestly, I don't wanna pay much more than $200 per wheel.

Dude, I went on a mad search for the site with the lowest priced P45R's and found this: http://18racing.com/wheel_p45r.html

I knew I had seen this before in a Z32 thread, but I needed to track it down again. Sorry I couldn't find it before you called Rota directly!

When you consider shipping, these are some great prices! Compared to Wheeldude, these are about $50 cheaper. But Wheeldude does free shipping on orders over $600, so their prices aren't too bad at all either... http://www.wheeldude.com/catal...6_402

Racing Lab seems to have good prices at first, but their shipping prices are gonna get ya in the end: http://www.racinglab.com/rota-wheel-p45f.html

Awesome, ya im not in any rush i gotta get coils, new power steering rack, carpet, headliner, seats, tires, silvia front and paint.

I got the money just not the time . so steering and suspension will be first and then after i get the tires the wheels. Paint and the front end are gonna be the last thing.

Personally, I don't have a problem with the way D2's look. Even with their steeped lip and fake rivets. The problem is their available sizes. Their best (listed) sizes are:

17x8.5+2018x9+30

These sizes don't really make the cut for me. That's why I didn't include them in my initial post. They're just not as wide as I'd want them to be. Now if they were available in 9.5's... that would be a different story.

Yea I would prefer them a bit wider too. I'm debating between some black D2's and P45r's. What color and style do you think would look best on a red kouki?

Sports Bronze P45Rs 18x9.5 all around. Usually I don't like sports bronze, but it looks great on slammed red cars...
