That's it, I'm blowing up the earth. It's the only way to stop the stupid.

Man, I already hated VWs way more than it's possible for most people to hate anything. But after seeing this...the hate counter has just rolled back over.
LOL. I agree totaly.

Did you even notice the steel wheels with the *whitewalls* on them?

Holy hell, talk about awful styling influences. Rusty hood. Fake rust on bumper. Steel wheels. White walls.

Crap. What the hell was the moron going for? The "I left my car at Kmart Auto Centers for a week with instructions to put Kelly snow tires on, steel wheels, and strip the hood of paint for protective purposes" look?

Well if so, they succeeded.

I think that bmw would look positivley sick if that hood was clearcoated. Kind of like a oil burn finish. But that's the only exception. everything else=

Car looks good, but it needs moar camber and moar low. You can only fit 002's on a stock-bodied NA if it's SUPER low, tucking like almost the entire tire. They look like they're sticking out a bit as-is.

I apparently need to get slimmer lugnuts for my car. I tried to test-fit my 002's on the NA8 last night and I couldn't get the lugnuts in.

I have big plans for my hood, but it isn't polishing, rusting, carbon, or chalkboard. If I can actually get it done, it'll be the first car I've ever seen with a hood like this. We'll see if I can make it happen.

I'll be honest, I love the way it looks. ONLY ON EURO CARS THOUGH. JDM and Japanese USDM cars with rusted hoods just look like fcking junk.

And Old american muscle is definitely acceptable for the rusty hood, I'd so rock a rusty hood on a Nova, or Chevelle.

thats right, i forgot you have a miata currently!

yeah, fitment could be better. afaik hes running 205/50s! needs 195/45 for sure, but i was only posting it to showcase the polished hood.

any hints to what the hood project is gonna be? haha, at least make a thread when you start making some progress.

wow, this is pure stupidity. I don't know about you but I hate rust more than anything else. Maybe because I own a 30 year old Datsun and had to deal with rust. Those people are taking a step backward

I have to disagree with Mellow. It's not about being open minded. Putting LS1 in S30 and RX07s is open minded, but doing/using something that will destroy the material of my car is just moronic to me. I'm pretty sure they're the same people that hand things on their tow hooks hahah.

It goes to show that they care more about trend and parking hard than anything else, just look at the luggage on the BMW. WTF?

thought about doing the polished hood since my car was already stripped, decided not to because i want to be able to see out of my windshield on clear days.

It's kinda cool cause it's different. Ive seen artists use rust and other forms of oxidation to add character. Some people like the look. But ultimately it's retarded. But who cares if only the VW and honda kids are rocking it. They do all sorts of stupid **** to their cars.

I mean it's a cheap mod at first. Don't have to worry about rocks chipping the paint on your hood. But then you have to buy a new hood cause the cancer rust raped it.

Well actually I think the chrome piece is metal there...the rest of the bumper is plastic though...(I THINK)

LaQuanda doesn't count because it is a big sedan. I talking about the guys in mustangs, camaros and others, maybe I should've said domestic cars. Happy now?

Slammed Miati also suck. The second you get the A-arms angled up, the handling goes to ****.

And if you want a ****ty handling Miata, buy a Mercury Capri.

For everyone hating on that e30, this is it now

What's wrong with luggage/roof racks? I say if you actually use it it's fine. I plan on getting one for my e30 when I take a road trip to chicago.

And it's stupid when people say slammed anything sucks because it ruins the handling. Most everybody that excessively lowers their cars aren't worried about handling.

I also think that polished hood looks ugly and is just as useless as a rusted or primered hood.

Then you have too much luggage. Really though. Are you carrying 4 passengers and all their luggage as well?

It just sounds like you are trying to justify making the unusual and ugly mods.

Yeah I guess so but I also think they look cool. If I made all my decisions on what other people think looked cool then I would probably own a new Civic with crappy offset 18" Mugens or something.
