The rusted looks ONLY looks reasonable on old rat rods and nothing else.

This car deserves to be put into the car crusher and demolished:

Farking ugly as hell with those god awful tires and rims sticking out 5 inches and a stupid as hell looking rusty hood.

Garbage for garbage looks.

The old rat rods didn't have a rusty hood and everything else nice, they were all ratty looking. That was the appeal.

Why are the kids trying worse and worse looks as time goes on?

I'm going to go out of my way to laugh and point and make sure that an owner of a car with a rusted hood knows that we are making fun of him. No use laughing behind his back, I'm going to laugh in his face.

The Golf I pointed out would look SOO much better with a nice set of rims and tires tucked under the wheelwells and a nice clean paint job.

First exposed carbon fiber, then primer paint, and how rust.

most of the rat rods still have some paint...a lot of that came from guys restoring them and leaving the original paint on and just containing the rust.
