You are in 'vette country. Indiana seems to be filled with them.

Some guy (or his soon to be ex) has to be selling one due to a divorce somewhere near Indy ... hit CL and be ready to pounce.

I have a hard time thinking of Wes in a 'vette.

Maybe it's his age or I just associate him with big lux sedans like the Q or something.. but I just have a hard time seeing him in a corvette.. Now, if he was 30 years older.. then I could see it.

I do believe a test drive is in order.

Wes breaks molds! No one expected a 12 year old looking dude to be driving around a Q45, yet he did!

If you drive it, you'll buy it. Take the checkbook with you. :yesnod

If owning a "common" vette is not appealing to you, there's always the Cadillac XLR. Essentially a Vette platform with a Northstar V8 and an overly complex (trunk killing), yet cool retracting top. You can get them pretty reasonably now. Just a thought.

I like the looks of those, but not having room for the golf clubs would cross it off the list :(. Even my Sisters SC430 can carry 2 sets of clubs

Pah. If owning a "common" 'Vette is not enough, there are plenty of boutique editions that look and perform differently to choose from. Callaways, Malletts, etc.

For uniqueness you could always buy a first-gen Viper with no roof or AC.

You'd attract the kind of women you couldn't bring home to mom and dad.

You mean the kind of women that don't mind working outside in the heat of Indiana summer......? Tell me again how someone wouldn't like this?

Well, if you have a farm, it's a huge plus.

Another idea is the Cadillac Allante. Not an exceptional car, but you might have strange women come up to you and do the Bundy Bounce...
