Ok Guys. I've delayed ordering supplies hoping that I'd get some actual orders on the blue and red wire.

The other thread shows that there are handful of you guys that want blue and red Grounding Kits.

Please make your orders today so I can get accurate counts and determine how much wire I need to buy. I'd hate to buy too little and make you all wait another few weeks.

ADKSaad1387 from the Altima Group and Kmckissic from the G side have ordered and paid for blue kits.

ItsjustbusinessSpockrockDangeris

Said they want red, but I don't have orders from them.

ItalianBulldogeight3sixMcheddadi-Paid

Said they want blue, but I haven't heard from them either.

striklybidnisjarastafariRobert (can't find his s/n)

Have all ordered gray kits and have or will be getting them shortly.

Adidas2go and LBC. What colors do you guys want?

I will order a set in Red. I sot you an email last week asking for a shipping quote, I'll assume you didn't get it. I'll resend.

Sorry about that. Not sure how your email got missed.

Shipping to Canada is around $20. Maybe slightly lower.

I can probably get 2 or 3 shipped together if you guys want to bulk ship.

Email me about insurance and declared value.

ok so i haven't really been fully keeping up with the previous thread, forgive me, however, this is of interest to me. is this the "complete" set that a few of the members were waiting for? also, will it come with clear instructions on how to install? is it a basic DIY where i won't have to spend weekends upon weekends completing?

I'm glad you brought this up. This is the "complete" kit. I'm still toying with the idea of doing a big 3 add-on, which will be more like a big 5 because of how Nissan set up the electrical.

There were a couple of other wires I wanted to add to this kit, but I soon realized that Nissan moved the ECM and TCM to the engine bay and I had already grounded that point.

The install is fairly easy. The hardest point to get to is under the intake which is much easier if you have an aftermarket "CAI"

The instructions will be 3-4 pages and I'll probably be emailing them to you guys, unless you request a paper copy. I will ask that you don't post the PDF up though.

These are the basic results I've gathered from the guys who have this installed:

Better Gas mileage. I don't like advertising this, because it varies so much, but both BlackandWhite and the Doc mentioned that they got more miles per tank on recent trips. BlackandWhite has the 2.5 CVT and the Doc has the 3.5 CVT. I want to say somewhere between 1-2.5 MPG.

Throttle response and slightly better power.

Cleaner audio

what is the main issue of contemplation whether or not you would want to do the big 3? also, what tools would i need?

i know i keep coming back with questions, but i've never installed a grounding kit before...

One of the issues is getting the guys cars back out to work on.

Let's call the existing wires the "Small 3". The small 3 are routed differently than usual. The positive from the alternator takes a pit stop at the starter before going to the battery.

The negative to chassis also have an inline fuse that I'm not sure how to deal with atm.

Installation is easy. Depending on which engine you have, you'll need a 10mm and 14mm wrench, An allen wrench, and a flat head screw driver.

The instructions are step by step. You'll need to remove your intake and engine cover. Pretty straight forward. No mechanical know how needed.

Seriously, sentient, you know I would have flamed away if I thought these grounding kits were not worth the money... but I bet my bottom dollar that I am getting like 2-3 MPG better with this grounding kit! I just don't believe it!

fellas I don't BS, I am having to pinch myself with these MPG readings before and after the installation of this grounding kit!

Ok so I think rolling estonian wants and I would like to get our kits shipped it either his place or my place, I am just conversing with him on how we are going to do this and then, do I just email you with what I want, then paypal you the $$ with the email in your profile??? Sorry I just don't see where the instructions are on ordering a set. I apologize for the hassle sentient.

Yeah Rolling Estonian already paypaled me the money for the kit. He asked me to hold off and he would talk to you about doing a combined shipping.

Email me (profile) and let me know what year, engine, and color. Then I'll quote you a price and you and RE can discuss the shipping.

Doc,

Thanks for the update. I'm really glad to see some real life benefits.

Hey Nate... whenever you want to take a look under my hood again let me know. We can work something out.

And as a side note, I can vouch for Doc's mpg claims. This past tank... I got 380 for a full tank. That's my record.

Ok. I'm waiting for the red to come in. I ordered a little more than I needed, just in case somebody comes at the last moment wanting one.

Sure. Wire will be here on Wednesday. Order soon or have everybody else laugh at you cuz you waited too long! lol j/k.

Whenever you want to order one, just email me. Paypal is preferred over any other payment method for security and speed.

What would the Big 3 do that the kit you have out now doesnt? Would it be what the claims are but better? or would they be completely different? and about how much do you think it would run?

The big 3 is a typical audio mod. It allows electricity to flow easier from the block to the chassis (grounding), the Alternator to the Positive (recharging) and the Negative to the chassis (more grounding).

This is really important when you're running high powered audio systems as they move lots of power. This may improve performance, but I really can't say. Logically, the only time it should improve performance is when there is a heavy drain on power (audio/video), otherwise, the sensors, and spark plugs don't require that much throughput.

If you guys REALLY want it (I'll need another interest list), I'll go steal BlackandWhite's A/C and start working on it. Cost is going to be kind of high. The reason why?

1) Wire prices are going up. After this next set of wire, my price is going up 40%. I'm going to try to absorb part of that, but I'll have to raise kit prices a little (Only on the blue and gray, the red is already high).

2) The big 3 usually uses 2 gauge or larger wire. 2 gauge is usually around 2-3 times more expensive than 4 gauge.

The estimated price is between $50-$70 for the big 3. It could be less, but won't likely be more.
