Yeah...Good thing. Your kit is made, I just need to make a slight modification before I ship it and I don't have the tool I need. It will probably go out tomorrow.mcheddadi wrote:Good thing I ordered one then lol, did you ship it?
can't wait for the sex
Don't forget about the extra 20 lb/ft of torque and the lightning you'll see when your wheels spin! I know that's what i'm expecting out of my kit.... :-pjungleboogie wrote:sweet ordered mine yesterday and i'm looking forward to at least a 30+ hp gain with a savings of 10-15 mpg...
what? too grandiose of an expectation???
For your information, the human body is a very good conductor of electricity You won't feel the shock as much if you have a friend nearby and grab his arm while being electrocuted But I'm sure your buddy wouldn't be appreciative of you grabbing his armJDRosenberg07 wrote:... but i also didnt want to see how well i can conduct electricity so i took the safe route...lol

Did you get a chance to send my kit out yet? Looking forward to trying it out!
Thanks
The wires should be fine. The jackets are rated past 220 Farenheit. Mine have been on their for 3 + months with no melting and I have quite a few touching the plenum and timing chain cover.jungleboogie wrote:what up Nate, I did install the kit this past weekend and so far, i can tell that my system does sound a bit more crisp and the throttle response is a bit more senstive... however, i did have one question in paticular.
some if not all of the wires are very close or even touching parts within the engine bay that may receive great amounts of heat... will the casing for the wires be able to withstand such heat?
btw, the install wasn't too bad minus the alternator bolt (which is so carefully addressed in the instruction manual). it was literally a b*tch and a half to get through that one.
You're the first to say that your MPG has lowered. Are you driving it harder?JDRosenberg07 wrote:How do you reset the ECU?
Ive noticed some improvements in the radio but mainly on AM/FM... i usually just listent to my iPod. and throttle response does seem to have improved slightly but that could be a placebo effect too.
One thing that concerns me is that my MPG seems to have decreased and im not sure why. Im pretty sure i installed the kit correctly but i could be wrong.
Sentient: Would resetting the ECU fix this? Are you supposed to do anything to the grounding points to improve the conductivity before grounding the wires?
I sent you the pics after i installed it. Does everything look correct? I told you about the one ground behind that coil for the MT, should i ground it to the other bolt or will that not make a difference?
Sorry for all the questions just want to make sure everything is working the way it should be.
No dude.. your stickers and blindfold are what got you those numbersmarlin29311 wrote:I might also note that the grounding kit has lowered my car, increased my whp to around 350, and i get an amazing 60mpg's!!!! Who would have known!!! (this is a joke).
Thanks, I'll let you know if I don't get it in a week or so.Sentientbydesign wrote:
Hi Greg. Your kit went out last week Thursday. The UPS store was a little less than competent and I think they messed up the tracking numbers. I tried them twice last week and they didn't work. I'll check again and email it to you if it works. I think estimated delivery was the 19th.
