Keep me posted on this. You're one of 2 people with the 6mt who bought a kit.

I'm not a huge fan of those instant readings because they flutuate so much...I know...I know...that's because they are instantaneous, but it still doesn't do much to start out with 121 miles range and 3 miles later have a 90 mile range.

Ok here's an update....

I dont know what it was but everything seems to be fine now... my instant MPG gauge seems to be reading acurately, and the average MPG reading is back up to where i normally was, which means that i am gettin better MPG's cause i did a couple 0-60's once i put the kit on. So everything is workin fine now...

my guess is just that when i installed it wrong the first time it just had to recompensate or something.. works great now tho

I forgot to mention this in my first review...

My lights actually seem better now - I've noticed that the factory HID's turn on quicker (get to white) and that the brights seem brighter. This is not placebo, my HID's usually took about 3 seconds to get to their color, now it's about 1.5 seconds. The high beems are definatly brighter too - its not the type of thing that was mentioned anywhere around so I wasn't even thinking about it and then I threw the highs on the other night and they were noticibly better than before...

As for mpg gains i've only gained a mear .5mpg so far - not sure if this is a result of the wires or present driving trends...

Let me know if you don't get it by Monday. I could have sworn the delivery date was supposed to be today.

Darryl,

I emailed the instructions to you.

I sent them yesterday afternoon. About an hour after your email requesting them. I resent it again. Give me a call tomorrow (today) if you still don't receive it.

I'll second this. I put Nate's kit on last night and immediately noticed the same benefits along with the throttle response. Good kit. I'm very happy.

Well I got the grounding kit yesterday and today I installed it. Took about 30 minutes. The hardest point to get to is point B but lucky for me, I had a lot of practice with the girls I dated in my adolescent years that I was able to manipulate my hand in such an angle to turn the ratchet. Not sure what the guys were talking about when they said the bolt by the alternator was hard to get to but that was a cinch. I guess having the right tools make all the difference in the world. Can't wait to test it out this up coming week during my commute back and forth from work. Thanks Nate!!!!!

Here's a pic of the install. I think it came out clean and I have to say, the translucent red wires look hot!! THESE GROUNDING KIT IS TOP NOTCH QUALITY!!!

Do you have anymore of the kit? This was my first time on Altima General Discussions. And wat color would look good on a white car. im leaning towards blue.

Hi Eddie,

Yeah I always try to keep supplies on hand for people. This wasn't a group buy. I just wanted the guys to make a commitment on red if they were going in that direction.

I've got Gray and Blue on hand. I personally like the blue A LOT! It transitions from a bright medium blue in direct sunlight to a midnight blue in the shadows. Very sexy.

Damn, after seeing Dangeris' kit... I kinda wished you had red wire when you prototyped on my car.

Yeah the red is really nice looking! looks solid in color but it's almost a translucent wire cover. Very sexy!

I'm sorry Daniel. You can always post up your kit for sale and buy a red one from me

My fave is still the blue. I can't make a good enough excuse to swap my charcoal one with the blue though

You could accidently be working on your engine when you just so happen to have huge wire cutters that just so happen to cut through on of the grey wires so you have to replace it?

You and the damned white Lol j/k.

The only thing I can get in white is a Copper Clad Aluminum. It's actually an aluminum wire with copper coating or something like that. I personally hate the stuff and thing it should go to hell, but it's available.

$70 shipped to you or $65/each if you get 1 more person who wants the same color.

I can't speak for the performance benefits because this is "economy" wire with a pretty Silver Pearl jacket.
