Wow what a job!

After alot of work by westcoasthotrods and myself we finally have the rb26dett intake manifold with full itb's on the rb20 head while still using all the water lines. We had to waterjet a solid piece of 1" thick alluminum to make an adapter and then cnc all the ports and taper them from the bigger 26 ports angled down into the 20 ports. All of the water holes fit decently but a few we had to epoxy areas and make it work ourselves. All studs of course had to now be 1inch longer. Amazing how it even misses the fuse box in the factory location. Here are some of the test fitted pictures... not painted yet or anything just media blasted.

So for all of you out there wondering if it can be done or not, there ya go. As soon as it is completely ready to go i will follow up with video and dyno results on close to stock boost so we can have a look at performance gains the manifold and individual throttle bodies give!

thats freakin awesome. love to see people going their own route, as someone said above. Thats half the fun of the automotive hobby for me, making things myself, as opposed to taking the "off the shelf" road.

Good job man, cant wait to see more of it.

Woww that must have taken a lot of time and effort. Way to go! Are you going to copy that adapter plate and sell it to the masses? Looks like a few of the runners need better port matching, but other than that it looks solid.

I've seen some go as low as $125. So its really worth it. Plus I love having OEM looks so thats why I really want one.

alright , we'll im going to start a list of people who tentatively want a waterjetted and hand milled adapter plate to fit the rb26 intake manifold and itb's to either the 20 head or the 25 head (different of course)

For the 20:

1. NismoZilvia2. ripracer3. ryan154. Darius?

For the 25:

1.midnightsliding2.L0nestar

Any more interest? The more the better as I am sure i can get a better deal for everyone. As far as sourcing out the manifold plenum and itb's that will be up to you but i believe there is a complete setup on ebay for $200 right now!

Thanks, Brody

you could make it out of 3/4 plates, it's cheaper than 1"; might even pull it off with 1/2"
