Heading to bed so I'll keep it quick, but I'm glad I checked one more time before I passed out. :lolling:

I'll ask one more time again about the one piece of fact in question here (and the rest while in my mind is fact, is opinion to everybody else.) Please tell me about the extended crank snout RB20/25's you have seen again? I'm not going to respond to this thread until you produce pictures, documented facts, internet links to "some guy said", or even you "stating it for a fact and I shouldn't question your word" that such an animal exists. Do that, or admit you are wrong, and we can continue the discussion about the merits of RB20's, CA18's, and stock bottom end'ed RB25's vs big block V8's.

ur 600hp rb, ur funny. i love my displacement for big numbers but i mean who's judging. 7.83 @ 189mph... oh and one of the nitrous bottles was still close. yeah, the direct port 200 shot never hit, it was run with just the 150 perimeter plate spray. the direct port shot never fired. oh and no boost, Demon 1095cfm carb breathing on its own. hello skyline, ill wait for u at 2 lines... the start and the finish. We'd prob be happier if u didnt post anymore, this is real people with real world budgets and real world goals. btw why would u build a 600hp rb25, wouldnt a 26 be better, wouldnt a 2j be better than a 26, wouldnt a rips racing rb33 be better than a 2j? if ur such a badazz pick up a rips rb33. then u can make jokes, we'll be tolerant and understanding. prick

[quote="Cjmartz2k"]LOL, I'm trying to figure out if this subject is going to be enough fun to be worth posting. Before I get to into how awesome stock turbo'd VG's and RB20's are, and how they should race a 600hp RB25's

in only posted the racing part coz of what he said. i mean 0 disrespect to anyone else in here and if ive disrespected any of u i sincerely apologize. but yes man, please, dont post anymore. this is rb20 vs sr20, i started talking to one man about the ca and here u chime in with RB20's suck, this sucks, that sucks. nobody asked u man. ifn people in here had rb25 questions theyd either be in a different section of this forum or this thread would be titled "RB25 questions". if ur gonna bag on the people in here, make fun of there swap, and tell them its not worth it then we dont wanna hear from u. thanks and good day

it seems to me that the only ppl who hate on smaller engines like the ca18 or the rb20 are the drag racers who want all out power and have plenty of money to dump into a motor.I have yet to hear one valid explanation why these affordable $1000 swaps are so horrible other than the same tired drag racer mentality of "no replacement for displacement" An i definitly watched a 705 hp ca18det on youtube yesterday,as if i didnt already kno from my education that if you got the coin you can build most engines to put out more than 500 ponies,if that's your thing.but clearly ppl who buy smaller older engines dont have the coin!

For the record also an rb20 doesnt suck if it only cost $1000! hell at a lot of places rb20's are cheaper than ca18's.bottom line is,no one should ever talk s*** about someones choices unless you are aware of there goals.

Not seen him reply here yet, but one of the guys around here that's a NICO member has run all three (ca, sr, rb20) in the same S13 chassis, and he flat out said the RB was definitely the best of the three.

LOL @ you having a 7 second car.

As for Cj not posting anymore, go look in the mirror when you say that. Hes a helpful member of the community who actually knows what hes talking about, since hes been there done that him self. No internet BS rumors here, only coming from you.

"i got a big block Motion Performance phase 3 496ci chevrolet sitting in..." sounds like you paid some one lots of money for a nice big v8 to put down hp. Which would mean you don't build your own motors and really don't know how to do it.

So any way I'll just go back to just reading now, its pretty entertaining.

well im soooo sorry i ordered a 496 block since i dont have enough money to buy a WHOLE D*MN MACHINE SHOP! its alot more convenient to buy a bare 496 block than it is to buy a 454, have it bored and then sleeve it. Its actually cheaper too. i mean what, do u buy ur own turbos or do u build them in ur garage coz if ur casting ur own housings and wheels lemme kno, we can do business. LOL but either way i only made reference to the race car when he wanted to start bashing the rb20 and my friends with his talk of them race his 600hp rb25. im not hating on the rb, i love the rb... 20, 25, and 26. theyre all great motors and they perform very well.

but all this nonsense aside, its pointless for anybody (including myself) to be arguing about big block this, rb that... it doesnt matter. were here talking about this guy and his questions about an rb20 swap so lets keep to the point and keep this thread useful for him and anyone else that reads it later on.

if i had the money i would be buying a lot of things. i would pratically own a machine shop and needless to say i would have more than a 1 car garage and i wouldnt have settled for a Snap-On Classic 78 tool box. I really wanted a classic 96 lol.

you know im thinking to myself why do people have to come into these threads and bash on people talking about doing rb20 swaps and ca18 swaps and make jokes and say theyre no good. i know ive disagreed with the way other people see things and would do them and i think such is fine and acceptable because everyone has and is entitled to their opinion but dont insult somebody. If i ever did may the good Lord pass his judgment on me but i dont think ive ever bashed on anyone who did an sr swap and i dont like the sr. i really didnt even mean to get into the whole racing tangent coz none of that was really even relevant info. it doesnt matter what u have, theres always somebody faster. his name is John Force or Robbie Ward. so i vote we all stop this bickering coz were all here for the same reason whether we have a ca18 or rb30.

truer words were never spoken,a lot of this hating comes from individuals who dont realize what goes into building full blown race motors.ive heard of some of the most unlikey engines being built to run 9 secs so its pointless.i mean 1.8,2.0 or even 2.5 i can still built em to put down 400 hp only differance is the bigger the engine the quicker i'll get there and it will be more reliable.
