Cause I change em' like underwear!

The family is now together, the 20, 25 (or lack there of), and 26.

Hopefully these pictures answers any of those questions on why I went 25 to 20.

HAHAHA I love this kind of show-off. You can post pics like this all day long in my book. Now I understand why the RB25 got parted out. It's like "why did he dump his hot girlfriend?" and then he shows up with a playboy playmate. It all makes sense.

P.S.S. Ricky,

What all is left from your 25? Just the block and some misc parts? From the pics of what I can only assume is your 25 block, I cant tell if you even have a crank or girdle in there..

Getting ready to start assembling the intake manifold...

Test fitting throttle bodies...

Rear head oil drain mod...

Another shot of the modified sump with a -12AN for the oil return...

Bronze valve guides...

Secondary Intake Manifold installed...

Throttle bodies installed...

To let you guys see all the junk involved under the plenum...

Together...

Slowly coming along

Whats the advantage of ITB's?

better throttle response. most of the time you can keep more low end torque due to the extra plenum volume if u get bigger cams also

damn man, looks delicious

Did you get that return mod on a groupbuy? I think Dane? from NZ or something was selling them.I had to rig up a 90 degree fitting for mine, I bet that one fits so much better back there. My firewall is chewed up

btw, don't let your SS hose touch anything, i need to rig up some bracing for mine.

Yes, Dane from NZ made them. I personally didn't get on the group buy but I know which one you're referring to though.

Yes there are a grip of advantages of having ITB's but there is are disadvantages as well...

A whole bunch of crap, o rings, seals, gaskets, hoses, etc. involved.

^yup, and pretty prone to leaks cuz there are so many.

just a suggestion on those paper intake gaskets (6 small gaskets and 1 long, 1 piece gasket). use some orange high temp rtv on them... just smudge a very light, even coating on it with your fingers as if you're painting them with the rtv. it helps them seal a bit better and also serves as a temporary glue to hold them on surfaces as you're assembling.

I had metal ones (reused) and a couple of them blew after 2 years. ended up going back to the paper with light rtv coat. do the extra work now so you don't have to do it in the car:)
