I can't wait to hear the verdict. It doesn't hurt the gtk is the most gangster looking turbo ever.

Gave the GTK a little test drive yesterday till the dust sheild on the transmission came rattling off onto the driveshaft, ending that day's festivities.

However, I did get to witness some of the GTK550's performance. It's rather laggy (still mild tune, have to go fine tune it). Boost hardly builds and last any more than a quick second or so in first. 2nd gear is when you actually build full boost and it comes surging in and hits hard. Along with all the other gears. I didn't push more than 14psi that day so can't really say how it puts out at 18psi+, until then...

Ok so its running up to par now, but still need to make time to tune it.

the GTK by any means sounds buff all the way.

At the moment the turbo is EXTREMELY Laggy! Hopefully a proper tune will get it to where it needs to be.

Set for 18psi on the AVCR reving to 7200rpm. Turbo spools just roughly after 5k ish (it comes in hard I might add)

1st Gear - gets about 12psi2nd Gear - ~16psi3rd Gear - 18psi

One day out with it, rather fun turbo and car but we'll see what I can make the most of it.

good to hear Ricky, what ended up being the problem with your low compression on #5?

turbo seems laggier than my 67mm... then again I have a few more CC's to throw at it.

They could very well be my girlfriends since they act just like one. hahaha, dont they all.

26 plans have been rearranged since the RB30 came along, so we'll see.

Ah, I have to see but I know the only cam corder will be my buddy that will be 10/10 working.

Weekend looks pretty packed, and I doubt the car will be ready for such a throw down.

But I hope to be down to make it out there.

Took some pictures of the 25 car since the transmission is back on from some bell housing noises that had to be addressed :P

Going to do some house cleaning under the hood along with another rom tune.

Looks good man.

Question about the steering column gage pod.

Is it from ATI? What size are the holes? 52 or 60mm?

Also, why are you running the wires to your center gages outside the dash? Don't want to drill a hole in a good dash??

+1 on the GTR wheels

I fail on all 3...

Don't know who makes the column pod (and i don't care since i hate the thing) 52mm.

Yes sir, good dash, and couldn't see myself drilling holes as i did on the others. But I have them wired that way to just monitor vitals for the time being.

GTS wheels FTL... Currently seeking replacements
