Went to the race track Sat night to watch some customers and a new partner organization (shhhh) race...

Got me energized to go work on the car some more on Sunday so went got some dry ice to start on the sound dampering removal process. And for some reason it seems as if dry ice was non-exsistent as it was replaced with something else or it was a naughty word. Everywhere I thought I can just casually get it looked at me as if I was going to be making a bomb, hahaha.

Anyways...After...

But after getting the ice down on the car, I noticed a USB cable on the floor saw some glass... and then saw this...

Unlucky for me they broke the quarter window glass, what a PITA. But luckly, they were just crackheads and looking for quick money... stealing the radio and breaking anything to find change and money. Totally leaving the AVCR, SAFC, turbo timer, Gauges, ECU, etc.

No worries... some additional theift provention will be installed shortly

Motor has some changes, but I'll wait to update on that later on. :/

YES! I've been wondering what happened to this, glad you are still working on it.

Sucks about the glass, but good thing they didn't take anything too expensive. Do you keep this car outside?

So it comes that time again where I have 30 mins out of the week to get to work on the cars...

Hatch Update... not much, just finishing stripping every bit out of it for now...

Coupe updates... engine is out, engine bay is a mess...After a little cleaning up...

My buddy Dan came by and cleaned up the battery tray area...

We still need to seal it and clean it up, after a few more tweaks around the bay, test fit of the motor... it'll be time for paint

Gotta hate random jerks busting windows to steal crack money. Same thing happened to my integra a few years ago when I had it sitting in my back yard for 18 months or so.

I was kinda hoping when saw the cutting picture to see the fender wells getting tubbed out.

Hey man, I'm about to go get some dry ice next week for the sound deadening. Did you just through it in and wait for it to dissipate? Or did you have to scrape it out while using the dry ice?

Thanks,

one way is by breaking it up into smaller chunks and throwin it in. after about 5-10 minutes u can hit it with a hammer and screwdriver(maybe just hammer). another way is breaking it up and putting it in a bag or trash bag and letting it sit on an area for a few minutes and move it to the next area as you start breaking off the cold part

My RB26DETT vert is almost complete, have any new update on yours or heard of any others out there? I have only heard of three so far, yours, mine and one that had wiring issues but was running. Yours is going to rip the track up, great build.

Hey sorry guys haven't updated this in awhile. Hatch was up for sale but it didn't go far. One of the guys here at the shop is going to continue the build (time attack focused) I'll get some pics here shortly once that is underway.

But all isn't lost, haha, I'm really bad at this but I'm always switching up my mind and have already acquired the replacement for the hatch to begin building. When I get the chance I'll start back up with some footage. :)
