then you add about 200$ for:
GST tax (~$35), PST tax (~$55) Duty (~$45)Provincial Tire Fee (~$12.00)and finally the Brokerage Fee(~50.00-30.00$)
so 800$ ...It seems like a nice deal
my other options it the ~940$ set of Khumo 245/40/R19 that rjdmmfl1 called el cheapo lol.
windhaven or rjdmmfl1 or anyone else, what whould you choose between 245/45ZR19 Kumho Ecsta SPT and 45/40/R19 NANKANG NSII tires?
bottom line, the Kumho Ecsta tires are loud, cheap, and just not good quality tires. Its not about name brand, as windhaven said, its just about finding good quality tires and good prices, and windhaven has already shown that with patience and research, it can be done!
the 245/40/19 Nankang NS-II tires are W rated for speeds up to 168 mph...
mchedaddi, one thing Bournealtimatum said is true, you would be better served with a good set of Ultra HIgh performance All Season tires, and regardless of what the wheelsnext website says, the Nankangs are NOT all season tires, so I wouldn't suggest these for your daily driving !
You're not gonna wanna hear what I have to say next, but, again, when it comes to Ultra High Performance All Season Tires at 19", your choices are limited and expensive! Good choices are the Bridgestone Potenza RFT.. but those run about 300+ per tire... do some searches on the net and look for 245 40 19 Ultra High Performance All Season tires... you may not like the prices you find!
