Hey I was wondering if the G35 Coupe 2005 19" Forged Rims would fit on the new Altima Coupe. Does anybody know? Thanks and cheers.

Yes, they will fit. Well, at least on the sedan they will, but there shouldn't be any difference between the two. I know someone who has done this and it looks great! I'm still debating whether or not to buying myself the same wheels as a 2nd set. Just remember to put the wider tires up front.

they should fit but your turning won't be as good as it was before, if you do it then tell me because i was thinking about some 19's or 18's.

I'm in love with the G rims. Would love to have a set for my ride. Theres a guy on eBay that sells replica wheels. Granted they aren't forged but not bad for the price.

Here are the same wheels in 18.

I currently have these on right now. My stock 19s are just sitting in the garage doing nothing so I'm going to give them to my buddy. Will the staggered fitment affect the steering at all?

I thought about those 5-6 months ago but I passed because the guy wanted $380 for shipping But, that's to be expected for me already

Yeah dude the fit. I did mine a few months ago.

People look at my car and turn their heads to the sides. Then I speak out " It's not an Infinity, it's an Altima Coupe." Why am I going to make myself think that I have a G35 when I don't and did not buy one because I rather have a ALTIMA Coupe.

Mr. Coupe, nice looking wheels. That's not the ones he was wondering about though. He wanted to know if the Ray's Engineering 19" forged wheels would fit. They're bigger and wider than yours.

Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't the G35 coupe's rear wheels wider than the front wheels? So if you add them to your A/C, wouldn't you run into some issues?

So, rotating the wheels is out of the question right? And, if your tires are getting bald, wouldn't you have to replace two or four at a time?

yes 2 at a time... maybe 1 at a time if they are sport tires and have 1 direction....

Staggered fitment goes backwards on our car.. big in front small in back

I think the G35 Coupe wheels are sweeet! but, I don't want to have staggered wheels, I would prefer them all the same size, hopefully someone is selling only their front wheel, and two pairs of them

Big in the front, small in back? That would look really funny.

No, it's not noticeable. I believe there's only a 1/2" difference in the stagger, so most won't notice. The tire size is a little off, I believe they were running at 225/40/19 and 245/35/19 or something like that, but you can't tell unless you actually get up close and read the sidewall.

I love G35 Coupe/Wheels but I wouldn't want them on my Coupe.

I already get hassled with Poor Man's G.

I like the maxima wheels as well. I think we got screwed with the stock 3.5 SE A/C wheels, I hate the twin spokes. and 17" is small.

isn't the offset on the g35 wheels too deep for our cars, well i guess with spacers it could work. does it hurt the tire studs any with spacers? also what tire size would look good with the rays with our cars? will the nissan center caps pop right into the rays where the infiniti logo is?

I listed the tire sizes above. And no, the wheels are not too deep for the Altima's, they fit flush. If you used spacers on something that low, they would stick out from the wheel well, which is not good. And I believe the center caps do pop out, but that's not 100%. But if they do, Nissan/Infiniti uses universal 2" center caps so your Nissan's should fit right in.

If you're going with 225, the 40's would most likely clear, but at 235 and 245, I'd go with 35's.

Well I broke down and went ahead and bought the rays. They should be here in the next two weeks, but I might have them reconditioned, they didn't look bad from the pictures I saw only a two inch curb rash on a front tire and some normal wear and tear scratches, so I'll know more when I have them. Paid $850 shipped and I saw tire rack has 235/35/19 tires for $126 - $200 thats not too bad. Does anybody have opinions on keeping them the same color, chrome dipping them, maybe a darker gunmetal, polishing the lips. Keep in mind I have a silver a/c.

Well, has anyone thought about getting with someone else that has them and swapping the fronts/rears between 2 sets, so you'd no longer be "staggered".

I think the 18" 6 spoke forged Rays off the Track Edition 350Z would look real good as well. And 18" tires are so much cheaper.

I would suggest looking at some Gs and Zs photos. There are many exterior photo posts with rims on either of these two forums. Aside from looking at another AC this would be the best way to see additional examples of how wheels and rims would look on your car. This is a great excuse to explore the different forums on NICO.

With your car being silver - you already have the advantage - that most wheels come in silver - the color matching has been done for you. If you want to be a little extra - I would say painting them a darker grey, charcoal or Hyper Black - would give them a mean look.

Good luck.

the rays came in yesterday and I was able to clean them up a good bit. There were 2 curb rashes about 2" long each on one wheel and the rest of the wheels looked good. so I ordered some 245/35/19s all the way around at a local tire shop and should have them on this evening.

FWIW, the guy who is selling the rims in the ebay link is a safe bet. He's the guy I bought my 18" hyper-silver G35 rims off of.

wheels are on and they look great, a friend has my digital camera and I'm trying to track them down, will have pics later on. I haven't had any rubbing problems yet. but the tire guy and i checked before i left and he said i had plenty of room, i kept the staggered setup the same, i might try putting the wider rims in the front, but would there be any point with that, seeing how i have the same tire all the way around?

ok I got the pictures uploaded, sorry the camera is a piece of junk. The Nissan center caps did pop right in, it gives them the factory look.
