These rims look quite nice on the coupe, better than I expected, however, I'm amazed that you were worried about them rubbing. The fender gap on nissan Altimas are just dreadful. The near 1/2" extra fender gap you added by going with a smaller diameter tire is VERY obvious. Even with those lowered offset rims, at a width of 245, you wouldn't have a problem with rubbing... but I'm guessing you were thinking about backspace rubbing, not fender rubbing. In that case, I can see your caution!
I'm curious as to what type of springs you say you had with your previous car. Eibach pro kits and Tein H-techs are VERY good springs, and they would nicely ...1. decrease squatting on acceleration2. decrease the body roll you feel when cornering at higher speeds3. get rid of that fugly fender gap, especially in the front.
Right now, our cars look like dunks because of how high they sit. Not that you're trying to turn the car into a G (at least I hope not), but the thing that makes the G look so good with any wheel combination is the height at which it sits off of the ground relative to the "equal" fenders on its front and rear tires. A/C and A/S's have a higher fender height in the front relative to the rear!
