Now before you start to flame please read. I searched and came up with this zerothread/189729 which is a great post. The problem I ran into is that every parts store I went to said that the part was discontinued. So I came up witha solution "why not put some rollers on instead." So now I have a free (to me) way to fix my windows. The parts you will have to get from me( unless you work at a bowling ally) but I should be able to get them for less than $2 for both sides. I will have more pics and a full write up when I get off of work tommorrow. If anyone is interested I can get the parts and Im not looking to make any money at all.Its late so good night. sil_eighty86

I'm very interested. I ran into the same problem you did...I tried looking for that part and it's discontinued. Post more on your fix and I'll take a few of those rollers. I just need to fix my passanger side quarter window. Plus, $2 a side isn't bad at all. Thanks!!

Ok. I installed the driver side tonight. I have some pics of it installed. I am installing the rollers on the other window tommorow night at work, and I will take plenty of pics. I also should have an exact price for the rollers, you would need two to do both windows. door open door closed

Sorry for the wait, but finally the write-up.When you get the rollers they will look like this,You then need to cut them to look like this,Then cut off the top half of the factory nylon roller. Then all you have to do is force the new roller on the stud. You can hollow it out a little if needed. The end result should look like this. Then reinstall your window and use the adjustment screws to get it lined up perfect.Rollers will cost $1.50 Apiece, so that is $3.00 plus shipping to do both sides. Again my email is [email protected]

Your plastic clip is broken. That's the heart of quarter window mechanism.
You should have done this while you were at it. Man... It's not easy to take the quarter window assembly out and reinstall. Once that broken piece worn out, your window will completely off the track and won't go down or up. zerothread?id=190704

Does anyone know for sure what that plastic clip is made of?It looks to be just a Nylon square with a groove.Nylon stock is really cheap and easily machinable, I have half a mind to pull my good one and replicate a bunch over spring break. Will these things slide off/on that bolt easily?
