p.s. Pre-production mounting feet were completed this weekend, I went to look at them this evening on my way home from my FULL TIME JOB, before I came home to take TWO OF MY THREE KIDS to football practice.

Maybe, if it's OK with my Arizona constituents, I can get some rest after my long trip this weekend.

Any Q guys from the San Jose, California or Bay Area people in here. I've never seen a fixed up Q45 in my area and I was wondering if there where any Q45 guys from around here.

I used to have a charcoal 1991 Q45 and later a silver 1995 Q45 (pictures post-Zaino treatment are in the owner pics section). I am currently driving a silver 2003 M45 though! :D

Hitman,

I'm a single dad working two jobs and attending online classes at a university (no time to be there in person)... I can more than sympathize with you. I want to do much with my Q but my time is used up to the max almost always.

I have no problem waiting to see what you come up with so you can add me to your list of potential customers. It's not like my car is about to fall to the ground without it.

...Drew.....

Not sure you could put it on an A with the active works on the towers?

Geoff,

I haven't taken delivery of the car yet, so I haven't had a chance to see, if that is the case. Although it does seem to be the case, because the car I'm getting was modified with every stillen part in existence, so it would seem they would have put this bar on, if it all possible.

I'm fairly certain texasoil said he put one on his A. It was a modified Maxima/I30 bar I believe. If I have to do some rigging, that won't be to bad... Well allow me to rephrase, If someone ELSE has to do the rigging as I am completely mechanically incomptent.

No problem with computers, work on them for a living, came to me naturally... as for mechanics, run run run away!

I'll measure when I have time.

No go as there is about 4" of difference between the FY33 and G50 front strut tower top centers.

Hi, guysGlad this thread popped up to the top of the qeue. (so to speak) So, has anyone made a Q45 front strut tower brace yet?? I've looked at the 2000 Maxima ones on eBay and they are just too flimsy looking for me. I'm putting a Weltmeister on my 83 911SC at the moment and something of that substance would be required for the 2-ton Q. As an aside, the towers flex outwards at the tops under cornering. If someone has really made a 90Q45 fitment brace, I'll buy one.TIAjohn

It looks like we now have about 4 Northern Cali NICO Q45 members that I'm aware of (if you count szhosain as ex-Q). I'm sure there may be others that are unaccounted for, just that they haven't identify themselves yet. I think BadQ45t is in the area with a Y33, and I own a G50 like yours.

AZ - please also add me to your list of constituents who are eagerly waiting for that customized strut tower bar.
