The rattling was probably because it was running without oil pressure for a little while. The first thing that came to mind was that the anti-drainback valve in the
oil filter had failed. If that was the case, all of the oil stored in the engine would be allowed to run back through the filter and into the oil pan, meaning those passages would be empty on startup which would explain why it took a while for that oil to be re-primed. It
could be due to other things, like oil weight and ambient temperature. As long as it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about it. Mine rattles for a second or two on startup but I hear it's not unusual for these engines. 10-15 seconds each time definitely would be though! If it does happen again, replace your oil filter pronto-like. You should be able to pull and replace just the filter without draining the oil. You'll just need to add a small amount of oil after you do.

microGreen filter because it has a dual-stage microfilter.
