Agreed. M-B in the 80s was pretty awesome.

Makes me worry about Nissan and their dealings with both MB and Chrysler (as well as a few other OEMs).

They already have. Quality scores are way up, designs are on point, and last I heard Jurgen Schrempp was milking bulls for a living somewhere in the Netherlands.
