Well this is my first post on Nico so if I'm doing something dumb. Please call me on it. I've read a lot here. And after finally buying my first, long awaited 240 on Tuesday. I thought i would finally make an account here. This is what i got for 500 bucks and 4 hours of driving. Its got jic magic coils n1 3 inch piping and 4inch tip. And its gutted in the back. I bought it and it was drivable. But found out as soon as it was off the trailer that the slave cylinder is ruined and there is a spun rod barring. He kept going on about how much he put in the motor. But i guess he didn't take care of his investment. The transmission oil was very black and the anti freeze was a kinda watered down chocolate milk color. But enough talk, here are the pictures.

This was the first picture taken. We stopped at b dubs.

The next day, where i found out there most of the problems.

Its new home in my back shed. Its small but big enough. Since i live in Colorado its nice to have a place with heat during winter anyway.

Haha as my friends sand and work. I take pictures.

And out it goes. Took about 2 and a half hours. With some problems. Pretty good i think for my first engine pull.

Going to start sanding and then start painting the engine bay after i get all that stuff cleaned up.

well that's pretty much it for now. My plans on it are swapping in an sr. I know its overdone or whatever but for what i want i think that's the best idea.

Ok so its been really cold lately. And actually its snowing right now. So i dont have alot more done but i found some more pictures and got some more done. Here it goes!!

i got a e brake cover today. Thats pretty exciting i guess.

Before i touched it at all pretty much. It looked clean, but after the drive to the back. It was toasted.

Just a better picture of what the bay looked like

And i traded the motor for a chuki front bumper and 50 bucks to my friend.

and the transmission for 120 to a guy on craigslist. Black sawed on glove box. Those wrinkles are fixed now.

My amazing girlfriend who actually bought me the car. Helping me sand.

My friend power washing the paint off that the guy before me put on for some reason... It was red underneath.

It works good.

They are jic magic coils. I don't know how good they are. 15 way adjustable and have a pretty good ride for the little ive driven. Anyone know anything about them?

I dont know if i should spend the money to get the good stuff or use rattle can.

Im going to try and finish the sanding by the weekend then paint this weekend if i can. Im not sure what to do about that. Hopefully it will be nice out. Thats it pretty much. If anyone knows about the coils that wold be cool

Hopefully more pictures friday!!

If the coils are in good condition, keep them. My friend has a set and he has no problems, and it doesnt ride to bad either.
