Wow its been forever and i felt bad that i havent updated this.So since its been so long here is a huge update :spitout:

Well after some time of driving it like this I was playing tokyo drift in a parking lot and hoped a curb in front of everyone and damaged my already blown coils even more and every time i hit a bump there was a loud rocking noise from the front of my car so my friend gave me some stock struts to put on till i could get another set of coilovers. I'm glad he did but wow.. Going from pretty bad coils to horrible blown stock struts is quite a bad step down. Under hard acceleration and breaking and turning and if i went past 55 i got the worst wheel hop in back but they were free and I needed something so I made due. Oh and I got a chuki bumper and a set of really clean SE wheels. 150 for both.
new stance..

I live in Colorado and we have emissions here but they aren't to bad. However I failed twice not because of the illegal swap but because my CO was like 4 times what it was supposed to be. They have a free test to tell you what to fix and he said I never went into closed loop so I went down and got a new o2 thinking it would fix the problem but when I let it run for a while and tested the voltage at the pigtail of the new 02 i never got anything so i figured i got a bad one and returned it. I put the old one in after a cleaning mostly to plug the exhaust leak and plugged it back in and when it got up to operational temp i heard the idle drop and it ran smother... I wasn't sure if it was just me or if it really happened since that wouldn't make sense at all. But my temp tag was close to expired and so I got some denatured alcohol with the plan of putting it in the gas tank to pass emissions. But my clutch suddenly went from kinda slipping to full on undrivable. And After a little saving and research I got an act 6 puck stage 4 with stage 6 pressure plate good up to 575ft/lb... I put it in and wow.. Its like pressing the break. Its way to stiff for daily driving and although its been a great clutch and Ive had no issues with it besides it blowing the seal on my cmc. I do wish i would have gotten a more realistic clutch for my less then 200ft/lb motor.. I got it in still needing to do emissions and went through with no denatured alcohol in my tank. The guy kept stalling and burning out when pulling my car up lol. Anyway he had a little fun with my car before the test and ran it through the gears which kinda bothered me. But...It passed! legitly! I had an sr20 that was as legal as could be. I was stoked.
I got a overflow Because i kept dripping coolant everywhere with my ghetto set up.

I was getting tired of the whole primer thing since that's how it had been for about 8 months so i decided to try that roller pain job thing everyone on youtube does.
I went white.

Still high off the ground on blown stock struts but now white. It looked a lot better and was a lot funner to drive because i didn't feel like it was as much of a "project car" anymore and more of a legit 240. Kinda.
Maybe it was the fall colors. Or maybe it was my Honda friends but somehow I decided to paint my perfect condition SE's bronze..

I kinda regretted painting them but oh well. i got megan coilovers and they are harsh but good bang for the buck.
Image
Its going lower after winter. This is my only car and hitting a dip to fast already dropped my bumper a little. Ill fix it soon.

I liked my car. This was probably the best time for it because everything worked. It went almost a year without many problems and made it through the winter with coilovers fine.
Spring time 2011 I got a job at an auction house and was working crazy hours and even though I was making good money I had no time or energy to put in the car and stuff started breaking.
Image
This is a pretty common sight for most 240 owners i think.
Image
The front of my car was always messed up and on one night I bottomed out through a drainage ditch and the intercooler broke the whole front of my rad support off. It hung about 2cm off the ground the whole drive home. Im thankful i could drive it home at all and since i was working non stop i fixed it with duct tape.... :inout: :wtf2: Which is a horrible idea i know. But i needed it for work the next day with no other way to fix. The tape held fine for the time it was needed.
Image
washed out but still a cool pic imo
I fixed the rad support with some custom fab and lowered the car another inch or so.
Image
Its cool walking outside and getting excited looking at your car even if its just stock wheels with coilovers. I seriously love this car and wouldn't have made it as far if i didn't.
Image
Image
The valve cover has been a few colors at this point..
So as things start breaking on the car again i lose my job and have no money to fix the "small" problems on the car. The stock t25 at this point has a blown oil seal and july 27th was the last day i drove my car. I was unemployed and distracted by life for a while and the car sat. I got a new job and started getting back on my feet and decided it would be most cost effective to rebuild the t25. I got an oem rebuild kit and pulled the turbo and mani and got to work.
Image

Image
here you can see the "custom" wastegate bracket from whoever ran the engine before me in japan. It was an 11.5psi wastegate
Image
Image
While i waited for the rebuild kit I found a great deal on some 17x9+25 rotas with some 215 45s. Probably not permanent wheels but great for now.
Image
then it snowed a little
Image
Image
better then before id say.
Image
Image
started back up on the turbo when i got the rebuild kit in the mail.
Image
Image
Image
Everything went smooth and i took it to get balanced at which point i was informed that the turbo was 10x out of spec and that he had taken as much off as he could so the turbo was "unbalancable" which sucks. So i had 150 into a turbo i couldn't use and still wasn't driving my car. He told me the shaft was to warn and that most turbos i tried to rebuild would have the same problem. I didn't want to be pulling my car apart later in the month so i took his advice and didn't put it in. At this point i had a choice to make. New t25 or jump to s15 t28. The plans for my car were never more then a street-able car that could see the track when i had the time. So the that was my dream turbo for the car. But I just didn't have the money at the time. So i started looking and thinking about what to do.
Image
Image
Image
So i got my car in the better garage and put the wheels on. It needs to be a little lower but im pretty satisfied with how it looks compared to what i was used to. It was even more of a reason for me to get back into my car.
Then i found an amazing deal on this bad boy...

S15 t28 91f00. Got it bolted up. Found out the downpipe doesn't fit and it looks really restricting anyway so instead of drilling it out Ill be ordering a new one as well as lines with restrictor and reclocking kit.Im hoping for about 300whp and then ill be focusing on other parts of the car. Id like to get a legitimate suspension set up and also good paint and body. I will also be participating in the 2012 drift season for the first time. So that's pretty much the progress so far.. Im getting some parts for Christmas so i probably wont be driving till then but till i have money for a tune maf and injectors ill be running the stock 7psi on the t28 and just working on getting my car to a good spot. Thats it for now though. Ill update with more when i have a chance and some more progress. As always thank you for reading.
Also i have some shaft play on the new turbo. its completely brand new with 0 miles on it. Id say less the a mm side to side but also a little in and out... Im pretty sure i can return it still if need be..But id really hate to go through that trouble for nothing.

Looks good, 300whp is a blast in a S13..

The s15 turbo is great, its so responsive. I think you will love the end result with this turbo

Good work

Thanks man, I really cant wait to be back in the car again.Ive been doing quite a bit of research on all this stuff before i bite the bullet and go into debt buying everything. I would rather have the quick spool and response then the high end untouchable power.
